hey bros ive recently gained philosophical insight to the extent that philosophy is largely dissolved for me. ive been wanting to start astral projection however and wanted to know if philosophical insight has any effect on astral projection. also ask any me any philosophy question if you want i probably know the answer
>>
Don’t try it, once you build an astral body it’s really really hard to get rid of, and if it’s still there when you die you’ll get stuck in it. Hell is described as a place of wandering restless hungry miserable ghosts unable to move on, that’s what happens to those who die tethered to an astral body.
>>

hmm that does seem like a massive unnecessary risk, so for what reason would somone want to astral project then? is it just a a waste of time allways?
>>
>>42428809
>I started philosophising that philosophy is dissolved for me due to my insight.
>also astral projection.
>however I also want to know if that philosophising that is not for me anymore affects astral projection.
>ask me about this thing I don’t know about
Bot or fucking idiot?
>>
>>42428866
Laaaaaarp
>>
>>42428882
the reason im asking is because if philosophy knowledge does affect astral projection that will legitimize it somwhat in my mind. its a test, like when you ask a guru wether veganism is obligatory or not its just to see if insight gained this way is more or less credible.
>>
>>42428866
what about the people who astral project unintentionally? You're spreading misinfo
>>
>>42428889
If you were any kind of philosopher you would research this yourself. This is larp country too.
I will be telling you truth. Other may cry and seethe but whatever,
There is no such thing as astral projection, it is all a form of lucid dreaming. You never leave your body although in this state your mind is good at creating convincing worlds. Look in a mirror and it will break down.
Your philosophy can affect this because it is a dream world.
If you want techniques then Michael Raduga’s The Phase is the best book with minimal bullshit.
>>
>>42428910
this is my kind of research haha. do you think there is anything special (in terms of degree of insight or satisfaction granted) about it or is it just another tool to navigate experience?
>>
>>42428936
It’s an interesting experience and can be satisfying. You might get some insight as it’s a different perspective.
I’d just the draw the line at it being a journey into higher worlds which it isn’t and many have tried to claim in multiple larp ways.

Some people don’t think there’s any real spiritual afterlife to move onto, so they see the ghost as the only way to “immortality” and think they’ll become “ascended masters” by doing this. The horrible realization that it’s literally Hell comes way too late for them.
>>42428903
That’s a symptom of an underlying spiritual issue. Astral bodies form only by some intense brutal deviation from the natural/moral order, like some overly intense form of trauma or hatred or lust. Some occultists farm this intentionally (antinomians, Sabbateans, Cainites, the Epstein class); if it’s happening spontaneously, it means you have a very serious alignment problem to address.
>>
>>42428910
Veridical information breaks your null
>>
>>42429033
i see.
>>42429141
what is the natural/moral order?
>>
>>42428809
>philosophy question if you want i probably know the answer
Okay. Is it ethical to not give a shit about this physical earth realm anymore and focus more on the astral realm instead. And focus on developing the astral body.
>>
>>42429150
God’s will, conscience, the categorical imperative, the NAP, etc. take your pick philosoboi. Easier to define by what it’s not: killing, raping, stealing, lying, etc. The thing to note is the intensity of a deviation is subjective; someone with an IQ of 58 might not feel any moral qualm for killing, and so is unlikely to generate the internal friction that forms an astral body.
>>
>>42429157
well what you "give a shit about" isnt a choice made by you. its about how you act on what you care about. i deduce you still care about something to do with both realms so which should you focus on? you might have well asked me should i eat the chocolate or strawberry cake, like its your choice man and if you act with best intentions trying to improve yourself its hard to take a wrong step. whats ethical is reducing prefrence negation but i cant tell you the best path for you to do that, you must listen to yourself and search deeply for what really matters and refocus this question through that lense
>>
>>42429160
but "take your pick" is from from multiple accounts that would contradict one another. i question the source of the morality you speak of. is killing raping stealing okay if nobody was harmed by that or is it objectively wrong?
>>
>>42428910
>There is no such thing as astral projection, it is all a form of lucid dreaming
This is true, I methodologically reverse-engineered the art of creating self-induced hallucinations starting with tactile hallucinations and eventually learned to create an all-immersive "waking lucid dream" state.

Here is a guide I wrote: https://pastebin.com/vHKeTau2

i gave a bunch of techniques from here an honest try right away and they didn't work but im high and sleep deprived so might try tmr

The difference I’m describing a physical mechanism behind formation events. Whatever the substrate being imprinted on, however it couples, whether it has to do with adrenaline or some certain EM activity in the brain or some uncharacterized consciousness “field” extension, the point is it requires extreme psychological or emotional intensity to burn an imprint. From a philosophical background I get why you care about objective ethics, and that is certainly a real thing, but that’s not the governing variable as to whether an astral body forms or not. While universal ethics are objective, this mechanic only applies past the personal subjective filter.
>>
>>42429435
i understand what your saying, let me question then if astral projection requires that strong imprint then why isnt having a strong negative experience required to start trying to astral project?
>>
>>42429465
It has more to do with the intensity than the fact that it’s “negative” per se, it’s just very much easier to get that intensity out of terrible things. Intense focus in long meditation over years does much of the same thing, it creates an unnatural deviation; “light and love” practices can be just as dangerous if the end result is an astral body, which most state explicitly is the goal.
>>
>>42429503
if intense light and love can lead to a astral body then they must be against the natural/moral order in high quantity's then right?
>>
>>42429572
No no, I meant the new age practices under that label that end up being entirely egotistic, not literal love and light
>>
>>42429589
To clarify: the “light” that Manly P. Hall gushed over is most obviously not the Light that Jesus spoke of. People love to misapply terms to obscure their intents.
>>
>>42429606
allow me to pick your brain then about this love and light what is so good about it?
>>
>>42429624
Break your habit of philosophizing, you’re missing the point I’m making. Psychological intensity can cause an astral body to form; negativity is the cheapest source for psychological intensity; a spontaneously unintentionally formed astral body indicates there is an unresolved psychological issue to fix; whether an astral body is formed on purpose or by accident, it represents a danger to its owner; that danger is that subjective awareness can remain stuck in the astral body, which is real physical system that can outlast the physical body; those who die with one are likely to remain trapped in it for an extended period of time, until entropy finally wins; during that time, those people are trapped here in the physical world, tethered to a physical system, unable to eat or drink or sleep and unable to escape that trap.
>>
>>42429668
i understand this is the framework you are trying to set up. im trying to further my understanding of your greater framework with questions. maybe you just want to tell me the dangers of astral projection but im sure you have more to tell me.
>>
>>42429691
Astral projection is dangerous for the reasons I’ve laid out regardless of what greater ethical stance you take. Going further than that would give the audience fodder for pre-emptive dismissal. The reality of this natural mechanic has been documented by almost every culture in history, but only a subset carry the warnings against it. Someone engaged in those practices might accept the warning if I leave it here, at personal cost, but could dismiss at face value it if they discover that my personal beliefs beyond this don’t align with theirs.
>>
>>42429884
but without anything further than a mere claim you cant hope to cement your warning as truly noteworthy. if you think i will disregard your warning because we dissagree on other things, doesnt that signal a lack of confidence to defend your personal belifs? thats logical as well if somone tell me an unveriifiable claim i might want to know a few more of their claims so i can gauge their genral trustworthiness or not and the only way to do the is with belif alignment.
>>
>>42429977
Because ethics are derived from faith, a personal conviction. Mechanics are derived from observation, abduction, experimentation, and repetition. I’m making a distinction between traditions concerned with the spirit, the will and impulse and ethic in man, and traditions concerned with the quest for immortality via the known operative system of astral cultivation. The latter don’t have metaphysics, they have only physics, applied to a domain that mainstream physics hasn’t yet directly measured.

Use your own perception to discover what you are able to perceive.
Examine your own visual memories within your mind. If an image exists in your mind notice when and how and why it arrived. Once you have a full audit of your own memories notice anything new or changing.
Notice everything, even when sleeping.
Somewhere between sleeping and waking are many discoveries waiting for you to look directly at them with your fully conscious mind.

Why would anyone else's words matter more to you than your own perception?

Perception is only a beginning;
Comprehension requires additional skills
