I don't think it's a mask. I think it's a "neck lift" for lack of a better word. Before going on air they pulled his loose neck skin down taut and somehow fastened it for better appearance.

The question is: who the fuck is wearing that mask? The general head shape still has to match, I assume. And it takes some skill to use a mask like this convincingly. Notice how his eyes constantly stare and remain open so as to not disturb the area around them where the makeup would be, seamlessly connecting the mask to the skin around the eyes. And the expression remains neutral, because a mask prevents you from emoting beyond simple subtle expressions. Where is the repository of willing professional actors of all different shapes and sizes from which they pulled one to match this role? People willing to pretend to be someone else live on air, and, more importantly, be trusted to remain silent about it.
