what we see as reality is in reality a number of electrical pulses that our minds interpret into vision. thus are dreams not an entire reality of impulses created by the brain? or even yet Intercepted by the brain from somewhere else?we define dreams as not real due to the fact that we generally forget them or take a surreal character, yet all we have to compare is the real world, which in our minds case is just another interpretation of electrical input. Thus it isnot entirely unreasonable to see dreams as a simulation, or imagination of reality? If we could access dreams on a greater scale, and it is logical to assume that dreams are mashed crossroad of our lives, our thoughts and our imagination, that these electrical pulses of the dream, fully realized, would be just as real to us as reality? I am not entirely unconvinced that we simply live in what can only be described as an information defigned dream, maybe at some point neuroprogramming will allow us to change how we see the dream at the base level, change how our brain interprets information, much alike to what drugs do today, perhaps one day we will entirely change our world, colours, sounds, crazy.

>>42432558>4chan discovers schopenhauerthe world is experienced through phenomena and feeling *alone*. true reality, 'noumena', is out of reach. Nothing that we do actually experiences reality, only perceives it through layers of consciousness. Dreams, in transcendental pessimism (Schope's thing), are actually a prior state of consciousness. In other words, dreams are closer to noumena than 'real' experience. And that's why it isn't remembered, and why it's all hazy and distorted and outlandish, because the noumena, actual reality, is unattainable.
That bitch looks uncanny to me, trully don't know how anyone of you fags find her hot. Kill yourselves.
>>42432558Yes this is true. You can give yourself genuine fears or even PTSD through dreaming. It's why people complain about their partners cheating on them in dreams, it didn't happen in reality but their thoughts and emotions responded exactly like how it'd react if it really happened. You can go from having heartbreak, trauma or the most overwhelming joy into reality, it's a whiplash of emotions.Personally I think that's why we forget dreams. The people that couldn't ground themselves in reality simply disconnected from it and was less likely to survive because they was too focused on their dreams to survive the wild.To our brains, perception isn't a thing, our brains simply process what we give it. Whether that's through reality, dreams or media, it does affect you.I love the phrase "you are what you eat' because nutrtionall that's true with our gut microbiome but it works on our brains too. What our brain processes, is us. Propaganda, horror, dread, joy, love, heartbreak or anything, we consume it by processing it (which reading does) and we change from it.Always be on guard of what your brain is being fed. Thinking joyful thoughts will make you a happier person, fake or real they don't matter.
Is it possible to alter reality in a way that allows me to tongue-fuck Belle Delphine's butthole?
Reality doesn't exist.
