I remember back in 2016 during the us election
when everyone nonstop was talking about wikileaks and what will be next leak a decade later not even a whimper what happened was it compromised by the feds or lost interest in whistleblowing
>>
Wasn't all the good stuff in that encrypted insurance file that can only be accessed via the deadman switch if Assange is killed?

You now remember the one south park episode that was anti-Wikileaks and desperately just tried to play it off as "embarrassing laundry with zero meaning".
>>
Why were leftists so excited about wikileaks, but rightists wanted to ignore it?

The left always wants to "stick it to the man" but only if their favorite authority figure tells them its ok. Rightest are worried about national security reasons and how it could make the country look bad. Both parties are right and wrong in their own way on how the situation happened.

the tech titans are so unbelievably powerful at this point. there's nothing we can do to reign them in at anymore. elon musk believes he's going to be a god.

It was pretty much banned from discussion here, which forced everyone who wanted to discuss it to move to infinitychan (which you still can't type out the name of here). For months people were digging through the leaks, they literally found the emails that started pizzagate, which lit a fire under everyone's asses. Jannies here deleted threads on sight, a massive subreddit was gaining fast traction until it was deleted along with all the wikileak emails and associated files, etc.... It woke a lot of people up but it was forcibly shut down as well.

South Park is a psyop ran by military intelligence. Still can be funny tho

Left has usually been for free speech and press, even if their politicians aren’t

to a degree it was memory holed.
that is one part of it.
then they obviously used magick to fuck him up.
it is really harmful to the demons, you know. so they hated on him big time. but now he is free. so... idk what to make of this.

Something maybe just one email, led to them being totally shut down in the media

Wonder what the topic is that did it?

Thats called controlled opposition

Its like how any movie showing the military doing secret stuff has already been okay'd by the military's hollywood liason censorship office- so even if its "making fun" of the military with an area-51 joke- they okay'd that joke

Also sinilar to how the hippie scene was funneled pure lsd by govt agents throughout the 60s and 70s

If you control the narrative, you control your "antagonist"
