Sorry if this thread is not here but I'm a bit paranoid, long story short, I am a temp and I am going to be assigned into an area where an older woman supposedly practices witchcraft she always has this glass of half full water, with a lemon and a piece of a green plant (aloe maybe?) but I am too paranoid so I believe she does practice it, and currently she is really frustrated and angry so I fear she might do some sort of "hex" on the people of the area I'll be working at, along with me probably, so I would like to ask anyone if there is a way to protect myself against that kind of vibes or hexes?>kysI know sorry anon...

Prayer and fasting
>>42436950everyone has their own little rituals and they’re all bullshit. witchcraft is simple: perform some kind of symbolic action, and if you’re lucky, you attract the attention of unknown entities that may or may not play along with what you want. I call them “the gods” because it’s respectful, but they’re not the characters of any religion. We don’t actually have any power on our own, the specifics of what we do don’t matter so long as it successfully grabs their attention. Once you have their attention, it’s up to them what happens. So, do your little ritual she’ll do her literally ritual and the gods will choose what happens next.Nobody likes to hear this truth nuke because they’re all egotistical cringe lords that think they’re super special snowflakes
>>42436956>>42436968I see so Praying is one option... but doesn't fasting mean I'll be vulnerable?>>42436996I just want to protect myself from misfortune or some bad power hurting me, I don't want to play with some kind of... gods powers, so I guess... I could try searching for a little good fortune ritual? But doesn't this mean by playing with witchcraft I open myself up for bad spirits or something similar?
>>42437030Witchcraft is about creativity and personal expression, the ritual should be unique to you and symbolically meaningful. Most witches just copy what other people have done before, which is what you’re asking for, and it’s ultra mega cringe. Do your own thing, anyone who tells anyone else how they should do witchcraft is full of shit
>>42436950I'd just try to buy her off. Be a man and go bribe the old bitch.
>>42436950You're fine, don't worry about it. Witches don't just throw around hexes, there's a balance to these things, to invoke misfortune is to bring misfortune upon yourself. No one who knows anything about practice will hex an entire department because they're in a bad fucking mood. If you run into her, just be polite and friendly, stay off her shit list and you'll be fine.
>>42436950You need to carry a The Holy Bible with you, do not allow her to get anything that belongs to you or is a part of you, and hide crucifixes around her room. For starters.
>>42436950The fact that you're already scared has weakened your natural defenses so you need to boost them naturally. As you go about your day and see a small stone and you have the vague thought of>That's a nice rock>I'd like to pick up that rockOr any sort of stuff like that just pick up that rock and put it in your pocket.
>>42436950Hexes only work if you let them.Say out loud that you command that all negative energy be sent back to where it came from, that you do not grant permission, yada tada, you get the gist. Sprinkle sea salt around your dwelling, at door & in corners especially. Focus on attracting postively charged energy.
