context: https://boards.4chan.org/x/thread/42433123#topto be honest, i was pretty surprised when i found out people were starting to take interest. like i promised, i will show you all the other images i find of the purple monkey.this one is the jackpot. its an image of me and my brother playing sonic 2 as we usually did. except, neither of us remember taking this photo. the photo simply could not have been taken at all actually; im 100% sure the camera wouldn't have been in the basement where my brother and i basically lived. and of course, that purple bastard is still there, in he back.what gets even more concerning is the fact that looking into the metadata, most of the information was gone, all replaced with random zeros and ones.is it the camera? could've my childhood been possessed by an obscure piece of software from 1999? perhaps. i might run a few tests with the camera and try and see if i can find the root of this.will keep updating if thread gets info, and i won't let it die this time.
