My dreams keep getting longer and more realistic. Does that have a mystical meaning?

I could describe the layout of the city in more detail but it's irrelevant. You know how you just "spawn in" during a dream? Once I had my faculties, I was instantly overcome by an incredible sense of "Oh shit, I have all these children who trust me and it is my duty to keep them alive and also make this experience as fun and educational as possible."But I also had orders to hold this position at all reasonable costs. Our side in this conflict had lost control over the western side of the city and we were expecting an assault across the river. My tiny squad was just one irrelevant cog in a huge machine.

The enemy then attacked across the river but we were located relatively uphill from the river. Instead of combatting the enemy infantry/armor assault, we got hit by an incredible artillery assault. Shells, missiles, drones all blasted apart the home depot. It was withering and I immediately concluded that if we remained here, "my kids" were going to die so I ordered them all to follow me out of the back of the Home Depot and into a residential neighborhood. I shepherded my squad/class into the suburbs and away from artillery fire. We then ran across some farm fields of growing wheat and basedbeans.I spotted a compound with a military shed with a half built wall made of that wall material the US army uses. Outside was a ~300mm rocket launcher device on a launching pad. I decided that I should say that I had to retreat and hold this position to prevent the enemy from taking this rocket launch site. This would allow me to keep my kids safe while still obeying orders.I decided to make this fun and educational for them so I began instructing my kids on how to entrench ourselves and set up mutually supporting fields of fire, how to cover each other during a staged retreat, and the difference between cover and concealment. We then explored the shed and rifled through random gear. Then we set up a 12.7mm machinegun aimed at a spot where the wall was incomplete.
>>42438448>>42438962After an incredibly lengthy time in dream spent just hanging around, joking, teaching, and exploring, a Humvee with some upper officers drove up and rudely asked me what we were doing. One of my kids pointed the MG at him because he was so rude but I told him to quit. I explained that we were guarding the launching pad and the officer ordered us to return to the city to assist in the counter attack. Apparently, we had lost control of the city, but were now retaking it. I ordered my kids to follow me back into the suburbs and we moved back to the Home Depot. Fortunately, the enemy had been cleared out of the area by the earlier assault so I interpreted my orders to mean that we needed to garrison the Home Depot again. The Home Depot was absolutely wrecked by the sustained combat by now. I decided that the parking lot was so cratered that we could just chip away at the pavement and dig more trenches. I went through my entire "educational and fun experience" thing and my kids eagerly set about digging trenches in the parking lot. Then my radio ordered me to join the assault across the river.I still got this horrible feeling that I was going to get these kids killed if I wasn't smart in keeping away from combat, but orders were orders so I ran our squad down to the river. A kid spotted a bunch of debris jamming the river so we ran across it and began taking positions in the residential houses. By now we were in the range of smallarms combat so I just picked a direction and slowly moved down the street. Unfortunately, we made contact with the enemy so I just ordered us to stop and exchanged suppressive fire at a distance and radioed for armor support.It never came.No joke, that was my actual dream.
Unironically cool dream OP. From my experience, the really vivid and long ones are your unconscious telling you something important or related to what's going on right now.The issue with interpretation is that it requires you to have a grasp on what a specific "thing" means for you, and the opposite (how your brain represents certain things). This is impossible without deep knowledge of the person in question, so I'm naturally going to generalise. For most people, children probably represent something still growing, developing, not yet ready but has started its path. The fact that you were wrangling them around makes me think this is probably about managing parts of yourself that are in development and guiding them to flourishing.Your unconscious will never tell you something you already know, so this may be something you're getting wrong or failing to accept in yourself. Maybe you're overestimating your experience and abilities? If you have any special relationship with children or the military, it could help decipher what is being said.

I work in the education field and feel that it is my duty to protect and educate those in my care. I also play the game Foxhole. Combined, this pretty much explains my dream. Maybe I should go to Home Depot and get a board for my basement but I've become disgusted with them for not having the right CPVC reducers. This is standard stuff; 1'' to 3/4'' reducers. Lowes had them. This isn't the first time Home Depot has betrayed me either.

I suspect the singularity, but that is just wishful thinking. Also, there is a way to weaponize dreams, I'm just not sure who is behind it, but my money is on SS/CIA. I hope they are well paid!

I went right through its history and the people and even ended up with Michael Jackson showing his signature flash right at me. It caught the attention of Marie Fredriksson from Roxette in the afterlife in a mansion in the hills in the US, who got jealous and showed me that's her move.

I quietly lost the ability to dream almost entirely, around the age of 18. That's nearly half my current age. I feel as though I'm missing out on something for not having these fantastic visions come to me at night.
