Why do bacteriophage viruses have hexagon-based heads and six legs, and why do they look like little robots?
>>42443504its said viruses are the only life form not classified as a life form they also sound like eldrich horrors "The Reduction Hypothesis: Viruses were once small, independent cellular organisms that lived as parasites inside larger cells over billions of years. Over time, they shed the genes required for independent survival and metabolism, retaining only the genetic code needed to replicate. The Virus-First Hypothesis: Viruses are remnants of ancient, precellular, self-replicating RNA molecules that existed before the first true cells evolved. They became parasitic later, as cellular life emerged"
>>42443536so like either theyre something that shed all its "humanity" to become nothing but a borg of consumption and replication until all becomes void orthey predated life itself only to feast on life as it became like wtf this is some stephen king type shit
>>42443504>they predated life itself only to feast on life as it became
>>42443536Or it is some bacterial syringe mechanism that got loose. Perhaps the most plausible scenario. The packaging "head" with the genomic payload then... quite fascinating, how did it then acquire the self replicating program...
>>42443504Because hexagons are very stable shapes, and many bacteriophages have only a tail. Also, nature has perfected robots
>>42443504Viruses don't exist
>>42443504blame the armenians. always blame the armenians
>>42443996You don't exist
>>42443504The triple 6?
>>42443504thats because its a 3d computer render.they dont look that clean. the idea is quite simple, robots have movements that are for a very specific purpose and maximize efficiency.big organisms have a really complex enviroment and need to adapdt to all sorts of stuff.viruses are basicly data storage and not really alive, so the most efficent way looks robotic.
part of it is how they are depicted. if you look top left, actual bacteriophages viewed under a microscope, those don't look like robots at all. their legs are not mechanical like that (they cant control their legs whatsoever) and the legs are also really thin like strings. so making them stand upright on their legs like that does part of the job. also the fact that they are depicted colorless which looks like metal. bottom left looks more organic because its a different depiction. bottom right (nuclear pore complex) looks quite nanobot-like as well
>>42443536>its said viruses are the only life form not classified as a life formThat's the weirdest part, there seems to be a lot of debate as to whether they're actually "alive" or not
>>42443504>why do they look like little robots?Because they need to transport themselves through the physical world, like an insect
>>42443504Good question.
>>42443504desu, this might be a chicken and the egg situation, we might have made little robots based on viruses or we might have visualised viruses as little robots because its cute, maybe in the future we discover the true shape of a virus is some paranormal elrdich monstrosity
>>42443504The gods created these things in ordet to kill us. Human pupulation control stuff. If diseases not existed people would live longer. The gods don't want that. They want us to live x amount of time and then die.
>>42443504Imagine if all the problems we have in medicine is due to the fact that we never treated healing the body as a mechanical problem because we didn't have the technology to ever conceieve of the idea of nanomachines up until now. Imagine if that were true. Imagine that when the "aliens" say they have no sickness and can cure any disease it's because they can read the biomechanical engineering schematics of the human body along with the source code for the firmware in our DNA
>>42444095Its funny that's what they say about a lot of greys and grey spacecraft. They always look different from one another because they are purpose built when they are deployed.
>>42443536Retard takes as usual from AcademiaThey are artificially created, vastly outlive their creators, so we get the fruits of all the biolabs of all previous civilizations along with those from all nearby planetary systems
>>42444532Those things only target bacteria tho. And if humans didnt exist, pathogens would live much shorter.
>>42443504
>>42447433Is it any coincidence that the brothers "died" during the "corona pandemic"? Perchance they visited Wonka's factory to use the shrink ray machine... perhaps they fused with the rogue titan AI to become nano-robots... perhaps...
>>42447446You think the covid vax is extracted bogdnanoff essence? Cant be ruled out...
>>42444532>>42443504If you wanted to infect a population, you'd alter the payload of s virus to deliver what you want.RNA therapy anyone?Covid "vaccine" anyone? The hard part is how it would self replicate...but if you wanted to covertly alter genetics of a species, one might use bacteriophage.
Viruses are weird to me. They don't actually spread like most people think, and most of the time when you're sick it's because your body is toxic/unhealthy and it's just detoxing. "Viruses" therefore are probably only STDs and similar things, but even then I'm not exactly sure what they truly are, maybe just strange parasites or something?
>>42447503>but if you wanted to covertly alter genetics of a species, one might use bacteriophage.?
>>42443536HypothesisAn educated guess or proposed explanation made on the basis of limited evidence.
>>42447536They infected their RNA(?) into a cell. The cell then creates more bacteriophages. It creates bacteriophages inside itself until it bursts. Now what if thr bacteriophage was programmed with a genetic mutation you wanted to infect people with? It's the most covert way to "inject" you.It may make you contagious as well - coughing, mucuous, etc.Say you put a prion diease into a bacteriophage. And then it began to spread like viruses do.wtf indeed.
>>42448382>>42447536esl typos*not esl but that's what you get when it has to be spelled out.bacteriophages are gnarly.Look up the psi bacteriophages puncture cells with.How.Even if Bacteriophages only infect bacteria, surely one could alter bacteria a certain way to affect humans.Perhaps mutate them into flesh eating bacteria?Maybe they incubate aids in protein shells like how norovirus spreads?use your imagination. The implications are dire and I'm honestly surprised a state or rogue scientist hasn't done this already.
>>42448382>Say you put a prion diease into a bacteriophage???????????????????????????????????????>>42448408bro... wtf @ your entire comment>use your imagination.use your imagination indeed>Look up the psi bacteriophages puncture cells with.>How."Terminase", apparently>Now what if thr bacteriophage was programmed with a genetic mutation you wanted to infect people with?thats an extremely common concept scientists have been using to deliver genetic payloads in labs (and vaccines) for decades, nothing new. but they dont use use bacteriophages for humans because those target bacteria... they use eukaryote targeting viruses like adenoviruses. and you dont need a virus to infect someone with prions. and it wouldnt be any more convert if you did, bioterrorism can absolutely be done and has been used in the past. so i dont need to imagine, these are common and well known concepts. mutating bacteria into eating flesh is just genetic engineering, and using viruses is one way of performing genetic engineering. scientists are well aware of the different ways in which genetic engineering can be performed and have been for decades now.bruh
>>42443504as above, so below
>>42443504Kek the shit science fags believe in lol.
>>42443504This is what they saw in the microscope,ok could be a mini parasite, there is no proof that this thing carries DNA or MRNA,there is no proof about anything reallyeverything is hypothesis after hypothesisalso most ""viruses"" they claim they attached to human cells, are just exosomes, a cell's waste material or something.
>>42443996This is the correct answer. That picture is an artist's representation of a magical theory. No honest, scientific tests have ever shown the existence of viruses. https://drsambailey.com/a-farewell-to-virology-expert-edition/
>>42443536>I heckin love science!
>>42450543the shit they will use to kill or control you.yahuck
>>42451033yes
>>42443504gonna need you to stop noticing things.
>>42450616God that is threatening looking. I hate it.
>>42449910Thanks for educating.I'm not a biologist.Whatever it is that Lone Star(?( 5icks give you which makes you allergic to meat/gets your proteins to fold wrong, have phages with that payload target what they need.I'm not a biologist. Why is bioterrorism not more prevalent?Seems like a set & forget payload. Why set off nerve gas in a subway when you can make homeless people on the subway incredibly contagious?>Here, eat this (contaminated) sandwich.Hidden in plain sight.
>>42447446Haha! Good joke anon!! v v silly meme
