There is a theory that humanity is an experiment. The Nordics being hominid themselves, ascended to space faring level civilisation in ancient times and left, but bred with less advanced hominids. Heidelbergensis, Neanderthal, Denisovan and Erectus. These created the 4 main races of modern Earth.
