Are Nahuales the Pre-Hispanic, Méxican name for what we know as Skinwalkers -exclusivelly in the state, AFAIK. Never heard about Skinwalkers until I lived in Texas and read a book in a library, then I found some documentaries online. So neither do I expect most UnitedStatians to know about our (I am a Mexico, señoro) Nahuales. But I know some of you are well versed in my countries' "chupacabras" scene (thanks Agent Mulder), and even other among you are literally Mexican or Second Generation UnitedStatians who are ethnically and culturally Mexican by Moher Language and family-lore oral traditions. Never lived in the states more than 6 months (prison), mostly undreds of visits as tourist, so I really do not know your grass roots culture... Also, anyone from outside the states, please do chip in.

>>42445970Not quite. Nahual is a fairly broad term, encompassing different types of supernatural powers, encounters, people, and spiritual phenomena, and while skinwalkers are considered by the Navajo to always be evil nahuals can use their powers for good or evil.I’m a white US American with no known Mexican heritage, but I might be something of a nahual myself considering how I can be strangled (blood choke) for 6 minutes without fainting.
