i don't know anything about your situation and why and what you want you do, i can't advise for any drugs personally, i think this is a serious decision that merits focus and clarity. if we'd be having a beer and chatting and I got to know you, i might suggest something or other, or not but i can't in this context. i'm not anti-drug entirely, but my answer to your question is that in my experience, ayahuasca was overrated and iultimately mproductive, i recommend you be careful, researching this topic can create images and expectations in your mind and trigger some kind of spiritual FOMO that is not warranted by my experience.

Getting access to real ayahuasca is probably the hardest part of the whole experience by far. If you just le travel to huelands to some "shaman", chances are you'll drink some swill that will knock you out and wake up in a trashbin somewhere without your belongings, or worse.
The trick to getting the real deal at this point is money and connections. And even then nothing is guaranteed, lots of richfags get scammed as well. Just get LSD or DMT, this new-age obsession with "tribal wisdom" is cringe. If you're in a place where you can order the materials, I would recommend making it yourself. My first time doing Ayahuasca was taking Aya I brewed myself at home. I would much rather do it at home in my own safe space instead of a foreign place that's unfamiliar.

There's also Pharmahuasca where you make the tea with the main active ingredients, dmt and maoi. It has no plant 'pulp', but you don't get the other alkaloids from the plant that are not dmt and referred to as jungle spice. Some like the jungle spice and some like without.

To make a potent brew takes time. If you brew the materials at a low boil and then reduce it down to a drinkable amount it won't be very strong and will have mild effects. To make a potent brew boil the materials at a low boil and reduce like before, then add more water and more fresh material. Do this 3-4 times. It takes a long time as each reduction step takes 2-3 hours at a low boil. If you boil too aggressively then the dmt will evaporate and end up with a tea that has no effects.

I've seen videos of those that go to South America to experience Aya and the way they brew. The way I see them making the tea always makes me think that's going to be a pretty weak tea. The experience of these tourists seems to suggest mild effects which is probably best for regular people. Some of the others trying to take advantage of Aya tourists will just throw in some random ingredients or put way too much MAOI plant material. An MAOI (Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitor) overdose is a medical emergency that can be fatal.
