There's no negotiation, just make a goal for yourself and work towards it. You won't be breaking any contracts because it's most likely you came here with a certain intention, or mission, or goal and you got trapped like everyone else.Meditate with the question/intention of "Who am I", "What is my purpose for this lifetime?" From what I've studied about spirituality and religion it seems like Taoist metaphysics are the most objectively true descriptions about reality. The law of duality, the law of change, and the existence and use of "emptiness" / infinite potential. These teachings also came from China, which is the same race of people who figured out how to actually become gods, so they know what they are talking about. Taoist cultivation is a real thing. Also, my Chinese friend that in their traditional (Chinese, not Buddhism imported from India to China) beliefs that we, the humans, live in a lower realm, and the gods reside in a higher realm, and our realm is insulated from theirs, so they cant directly interact with or enter our realm unless they send down an "avatar" but the avatar of that god would not be as powerful in the state of being an avatar that enters our realm, so it would basically be a normal guy. She also told me that they believe that some of their ancestors ascended to the higher realms and fight the other gods to protect their human families still living in this realm, something along those lines. She also said that when you ascend to the higher realms, that it's a one-way ticket, you can't go back down. She also said that humans have creative freedom. I think new age entities DO strong-arm gullible and naive people like me and mess up your life to get you to submit to their will, but they can't violate the fundamental laws of reality. Free will is one of them. It does exist, but it's a system of choices that we select from throughout our life, like playing a visual novel. I wrote more about this in >>42467725.

Like how in Japanese delinquent culture, they leave society and deal with things in their own world, the world of gangs and organized crime / the underworld, outside of the laws / legal system of regular society. So they're free in a way, but they have to be strong because they have to deal with different things than people in regular society do who aren't exposed to those things. As silly as it is I started getting into it due to really liking Cultivation stories. They just felt true in a way that nothing else did. Take away the dressings and I think my intuition was telling me the true spiritual path is apotheosis. To my knowledge only Taoism and the so called "Left Handed Path" teach the pursuit of Godhood but Taoism is better IMO because the LHP still treats this pursuit as fundamentally selfish and subversive compared to the "normal" path. It isn't, you can become any kind of God you want.
