You immediately wake up as if you were just dreaming. You continue going until you die again. This ride never ends
>>42465510I’m pretty sure that’s what science calls quantum suicide
>>42465510>This ride never endsHold my umbilical cord.
>>42465510ok so what happens when i turn 150 years old and there is no possibility for me to continue existing whatsoever?
Don't remind me, king.I'm going full nuclear, acting as if I can put an end to this.Let me live my fantasy.
>>42465730There are layers similar to what was depicted in the movie Jacob's ladder. Once you have exhausted your physical material existence the process goes through a cycle of non material existence similar to what you experience while you are in a lucid dream. At some point you are returned to a strong consciousness attachment to your new physical body in the early stages of its development. Depending on what your circumstances were you may have continuation of your dreamstate existence from within your new physical body.. but the dreams are eventually disrupted by the bright lights and sound of the world as the process begins again. The really crazy thing is that your entire collection of completed lives is one solid block of data that is visible momentarily as you are attached to the next cycle of containment. Most humans would never notice how this works.. and they will never get the opportunity to independently verify the description
>>42465730technicaly your cells could divide perfectly such that you never age.very unlikely, but not impossible.also, stuff like quantum imortality says you won't die and will always be conscious, it doesn't say in what state, if you end up being a demented blob that also works.
>>42465952They are talking about becoming immortal during the next 20 years. What if you reincarnate into a highly advanced civilization where you can't die?
>>42465534Muhahahahaha~I just needed to reversIFical it~~Such is the way of life~
I survived catastrophic liver failure, was given last rites, the whole bit. Then, I just straight up miraculously recovered. Had a weird dream the morning before my organs began to recover where a man told me I had tried to kill myself with alcohol and that if I did anything like that again, there would be consequences. Pretty sure that I had "died" somewhere in there. Point is, I'm inclined to agree with you.
