Horus was eventually worshipped by some as (actually in two forms, morning and evening sun) young child horus. The "crowned and conquering child". One of these two forms of young child horus is harpocrates, the god of silence and secret societies and potentially pederasty (when further syncretized as eros-harpocrates). His statues are of a naked pubescent child with index finger pressed on his lips. The legend goes that harpocrates "spied out the secrets" of aphrodite so she sent eros with a gift to the child harpocrates to buy his silence. It was a rose. Subrosa, under the rose. I am trying to find more data on harpocrates and his cults both in Egypt and Greece. I particularly want info on the heavily syncretized eros-harpocrates and info on the ties of harpocrates to the carpocratians.

Do any of you have data that can shed further light? Also any data on any occult sects which focused on harpocrates or were at all known to practice ritualistic pederasty. If any of you got anything on this it would be great. I have a suspicion that the templars incorporated these practices largely from ophidian type sects particularly from the ismaili assassins. Interestingly in the Epstein files one girl (she is usually discounted as a fraud but I don't think so) referred to "ismaili satanic ritual abuse". I have never heard of this till that one Epstein file. Have you guys heard of it?

>What this victim of [Sagittarius] is, is not very definitely determined. Many of our modern atlases give it as a wolf, but with no ancient authority for it. The Greeks and Latins sometimes called it the wolf; but they were so much in doubt that they more commonly called it the animal; the victim, without describing it. Ulugh Beigh says it was anciently called Sura, a sheep or lamb. The Arabs use a word in connection with it which means to be slain, destroyed; hence the slain one, the victim. It plainly expresses slaying, sacrifice by death; and so would fall in with that saying of the Apocalypse, that Christ is "the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world."
>In some of the Coptic and Egyptian representations this victim is a naked youth, a stripped and unresisting young man, with his finger on his mouth. This youth is Horus, the beloved son of Osiris and the virgin, the One to come, who appears in various relations under different names, all more or less connected with the bringing of life and blessedness through humuliation and death. In Phoenician this youth is called Harpocrates, under which name he became known to the Greeks and Romans. Harpocrates means justice, or the victim of justice, the vindication of the majesty of law. Among the Romans, Harpocrates was the god of silence, quiet submission, and acquiescence.

>Pluche says that Dagon among the Philistines was the same as Horus among the Egyptians; and Horus takes the character of the meek and silent Sufferer from whom comes the horn of blessing and plenty.

>The Egyptians called [Hercules] Hor, or
Horus, the Coming One, the son of light, the
slayer of the serpent, the recoverer of the
dominion. Horus is described in an extant
Egyptian hymn as "the son of the sun," "the
mighty, the great avenger, the observer of
justice," "the golden hawk coming for the chastisement of all lands, the divinely beneficent, the Lord omnipotent;" which corresponds again with the descriptions of the
Merodach [Marduk] of the ancient Babylonians, who is
called the Rectifier, the great Restorer.
>It is
the biblical description, almost literally, of the promised Redeemer of the world in connection with the judgment.

...wtf do you got anymore like this? what do you think of my theory on this? The more I read the weirder it gets. Especially when you add into this some of the research done by people like Tracy Twyman. Anyways thanks for the data. If you got more or you got any opinons on this please post em.

>The birth of the sun was personified in Egypt by Horus, the god of light and savior of the world. On the inner walls of the holy of holies in the temple of Luxor, the birth of Horus is pictured in a series of four scenes which are strikingly similar to Christian representations of the Annunciation and Immaculate Conception of Mary and the Birth and Adoration of Jesus. The temple was built by King Amenhept III of the seventeenth dynasty about sixteen centuries before Christ.
>In the first scene Taht, the scribe of the gods, announces to the virgin [Isis] that she will give birth to a son. In the second scene Kneph and the goddess Hathor hold ankh crosses, or keys of life, to the head and nostrils of the mother-to-be, and whose pregnancy is indicated by her swelling form.
>In the third scene the mother is seated on the midwife's stool and the new born babe is held by attendants. In the fourth scene the enthroned child is receiving homage from men and gods. The three figures behind Kneph, on the right, are probably the three magi or kings of the legend. Each one holds gifts in the right hand and an anhk cross in the left.

You're pretty spot on, it's not a theory. The lock of hair on Harpocrates' head represents a ram's horn, the horniest animal to the Egyptians, their symbol of testosterone and dominance in combat or sex. Contemplate the symbols and his attributes in your proposed context.

>[from picrel] Magnetism is of two kinds, viz.; animal and mineral, and each kind is dual, or male and female, positive and negative. It is the Astral fluid containing the properties of the body with which it is connected; hence, sex always predominates the very soul-force of Nature, because it is through the agency of this Astral fluid that all the various phenomena are produced, it is the actual cause of every effect in both the material and spiritual planes of existence.
>This force is the indispensable agent of every Adept, Magician or Mesmerizer, and the cause of all magnetic and occult phenomena. It pervades every atom of the vast universe and all of life including planets and stars are subject to this double law of sex, action and repose. Just as night rests humanity from the day's activity, does this force restore the equilibrium of the spiritual and cosmic planes of Nature.
>The magnetic and Astral fluid is androgyne or bi-sexual, (exactly like the human soul) because equilibrium is but the resultant of two forces eternally re-acting upon each other, this is life. When these two forces expand and remain so long inactive as to equal each other and come to complete rest, the condition is death.
>The same soulforce, in the hands of the expert magician, has control over life and death, for, if the magician wills a thing and his will is sufficiently strong, that thing is done, this is the positive action. Mediumship is the reverse, the negative or passive, it is the feminine which receives.
