Last night I had a dream/vision that was incredibly vivid, and left me very disturbed. Here's what I remember about it. I was following a woman, through astral projection or something similar. She was led into a grand library (possibly the NYC library) that seemed closed. The person leading her, also another woman, walked into a wing of the library I wasn't familiar with and told the woman she was leading that "sneaking around wasn't necessary, as it already sees everything."At that moment, my vision shifted into tints of very dark red, (I later realized it was light at the lower end of the visual spectrum, pic related) and I saw something that bore a small resemblance to a maypole. It stretched to the ceiling, around 30 feet, maybe. Towards the base of it, the hundreds of strands that it was made of were bright red, and as they approached the apex, they faded into black. The apex itself was an amorphous black shape, and I could feel it staring at me, it knew I was there. It scared me in a way very few things ever have. The women I were following either had not seen me or didn't care, and I was able to resist my terror long enough to follow them to their destination, a doorway or gate of sorts.I was far too scared to look directly through it, but I saw glimpses. I saw men and women entering other worlds, and leaving carrying alien offspring, in and on their bodies. I saw things that had once been human, saying that abandoning their humanity was "nice, once you got used to it." I'm sure I saw other things that the waking world has erased from my mind, but my main question is this; Has anyone ever encountered something like this? A low frequency, borderline infrared entity that is also a watcher/gatekeeper? It felt far too real to be a mere dream, and it scared me enough that I'm avoiding visually depicting it in an attempt to avoid provoking it. Please, don't give me bullshit answers.
