Which is the most conventionally materialist view ever, you must eat the building blocks of life to sustain life (not saying I disagree, I'm buying into the materialist narrative and can't escape it yet)But surely you aren't tied to protein for the rest of your wretched walking corpse existence. The idea of eating meat is repugnant, I'd rather eat fruit, only the protein and nutrition idea is what keeps me from doing that.
