I'm a participant in neuralink clinical trials. They're actually doing it on non-paralyzed people behind closed doors in some limited capacity (they're picking the best goys that already work at neuralink for it, i work in marketing/press). They want this shit to be commercial so only experimenting on paralyzed people isn't enough. Well to make a long story short, a few days after they plugged me in they had me sit in a chair and try to move a cursor etc just to calibrate. Every time i got a command to do something from the eggheads a few moments disappeared for me. Kinda felt like getting punched in sparring or trying not to fall asleep. I was trying my best to remember what happened in those few moments that were gone. I was lowkey panicking because I felt that I really needed to remember. One of the researchers asked me if everything was alright and I just told him yes because I was too busy trying to remember, he asked me to move the cursor and then it warped me. I was stuck in some place where I literally couldn't see anything, not black or white I was just looking at nothing. (cont)

..And I felt like I was there forever, just sitting in place ruminating, though it wasn't bad it was actually kind of peaceful, i didn't come up with nothing new or get any insights, I could only run through whatever memories I had and shit I already though about before. It's genuinely impossible to describe how long it lasted - Imagine the longest walk you've ever been on, like if you ever had to walk home from a party on foot. Imagine you're at the beginning of that walk, and kneel down, look at the ground, and one inch of that road is how long it take for the universe to go into heat death. That's how long it took before I got back to the examination room. I told the guy that I needed a minute and that i'm feeling faint and they let me do the full calibration another day. Honestly I'm not even traumatized it was pretty relaxing like i've said but more so I'm afraid of what this technology could be used for if it can make a person feel so much time pass. It was probably one rogue electric signal hitting my neurons that caused me to think time moved way slower.
