I heard that there is apparently a Hindue prophecy that says Kalki will return after Islam has conquered 99% of the world

The Kalachakra Tantra is a complex Buddhist teaching tradition, especially important in the Gelug and other schools of Tibetan Buddhism. One of its most discussed elements is a prophecy concerning the future kingdom of Shambhala and a final conflict between forces representing spiritual wisdom and forces representing materialism or hostility toward the Dharma.

What the prophecy says:
Shambhala is ruled by a line of enlightened kings known as Kalkis or Rigdens.
In a future age a hostile world empire will arise.
The final king of Shambhala will emerge with an army from Shambhala.
He will defeat the forces opposed to the Dharma in a great battle.
After this victory, a long era of peace, prosperity, and spiritual flourishing is said to begin.

When is it supposed to happen?
Traditional calculations found in Kalachakra literature place this final battle around the year 2424 CE.

Some interpret the prophecy symbolically, viewing the battle as an inner struggle between wisdom and ignorance rather than a future military war.
