Is our existence simply a statistical necessity resulting from the infinity of the universe?

Are we living in the current times because statistically the Earth's population is supposed to peak right now before a demographic collapse, meaning we currently have the highest probability of existing?

Does that mean that statistically we're likely to be one of most populated civilisations in the universe across time and space?
