The fact that reality allows demons, entities who are evil, to be powerful, also makes me believe that Taoism is true, that good and evil are equal counterparts and that nature/reality is impartial. Idk if Taoism necessarily says the second part though but I really think reality itself does not favor good over evil. I think reality itself is basically "pure" chaos or true anarchy. I think Taoism says that infinite potential exists, and that's what "emptiness" is in Taoism. One of the most popular quotes from Taoist texts is the first verse of the Tao Te Ching, that: "The Tao ("way" or "path") that can be spoken is not the eternal Tao The name that can be named is not the eternal name" It reminds me of what someone said, "nothing lasts long enough to write it down" or something along those lines. I think Taoist metaphysics are the most correct. From my understanding they describe duality, change, and the existence of "emptiness", which I think I've heard basically means potential, because there is another saying from Taoism that "The usefulness of a cup lies in its emptiness."
