Let's talk about shows that have an unsettling/paranormal vibe, like a fever dream.Examples:>Rocko's Modern Life>Courage the Cowardly Dog>Cow & Chicken>Ren & Stimpy>Hey ArnoldHonorable Mention:>Invader Zim

>>42477186Also I'm pretty sure the PFFR guys are occultists/freemasons or at least have some knowledge.

>>42477177The magic school bus. I always thought that the teacher was not a human and wondered if she was a kind of fairy or some extraterrestrial or what. I don't think they ever explain.Mona the vampire. We never know if she really only imagines the weird events or what. When you think about it, either there are really paranormal stuff going on or the poor girl suffers from mental troubles.Creepschool, a poorly known french cartoon. Practically all the characters were weird and the ambiance was always unsettling. At some point it's revealed that the human kids of the previous year were cooked and eaten.Moomin, a lot of weird things happen to him and his family, and a lot of strange creepy characters appear, like that weird sorcerer, or that creature that tries to attract them in a hole to eat them.Gravity Falls, not just the paranormal story but there is something else, many characters are a little paranormal on their own.(I was pretty sure that there was a LoRA trained on Angela, I remember the example pictures and hesitating on downloading it, thinking "Bah, I won't need it and my ssd is already filling up too fast." then downloading it anyway because the file was particularly small. But I don't have it, and there is no trace of it anywhere, there is only a LoRA trained on the show in general but not on Angela herself. Weird.)
>>42477379>The magic school bus>Mona the vampireI loved both of these as a child, especially TMSB.>>42477177Boogiepop Phantom. I know you are probably looking more for Western shows, but it does fit the bill. It is hard to understand, in my experience, but I just love its vibe. Better than SEL in this regard.
ATTENTION, China created the coronavirus to dumb down Westerners and become the world's greatest power, surpassing the United States. Let's create a legion of people willing to overthrow everything. and makes America sovereign someone - signed Indian barista powerlifter,

>>42477603>>42477610Boogiepop Phantom atmosphere is absolutely fantastic, it fits the tone of the story perfectly and they managed to make it a direct plot element too. The OST is also fantastic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19ud4SWEsagI watched it for the first time at 9 years old and was mesmerized by it, I didn't understood the plot by I was captivated by it anyway. Is such a tragedy that the modern prequel didn't has the unique atmosphere.

>>42477177I knew people who were genuinely scared by the faces of the characters in Angela Anaconda, they would freakout and quickly switch channel. The 1990s Batman cartoon, not only better in my opinion than all the other cartoon versions and comics versions and movies, but it had a very dark and unsettling ambiance, and many villains were definitely paranormal.Growing Up Creepie. Her parents are insects, somehow. Her haunt is a giant tarantula.>>42477606(This is totally offtopic, and furthermore we all know coronavirus was created by USA and purposely released on China to fuck up their economy, then USA and Europe pretended that it had spread, in order to kill the protests, yellow vests and such, that were going on back then.)
>>42477177I like the Azumanga Daioh anime and mangaAzumanga has a feel that is very cozy but feels ethereal at the same time, almost like a hidden layer of realityI wonder if there is some hidden esoteric wisdom
>>42477186thats a good one

>>42477177I always thought Hey Arnold was kind of trippy as a kid, before I had a way to articulate that sort of feeling. I think it's really positive overall though. I have nothing but fond memories of Arnold being really optimistic and even zen at times. He was like this calming element influencing all the wacky stuff around him. I've watched a few episodes as an adult and saw nothing to make me think otherwise.

>>42477177Has anyone mentioned Nosferatu in SpongeBob? In fact, that entire Graveyard Shift episode freaked me out. I had nightmares about Nosferatu for years, in my dreams he stopped looking like him and more just like a gray bald tall man. In my nightmares it always started with him following me or him coming to me in my bed IN MY DREAM so imagine me waking up.. but he'd always sing angrily like Deck the Halls and then in these dreams I'd try to scream and couldn't. Nothing would be vocal. It was terrifying. But they were too fucking real.
>>42479676>he'd always sing angrily like Deck the HallsMeant to say he'd always sing a happy sounding song but angrily and it'd make the chase in these dreams far more scary.Pretty sure Nosferatu is a silent film too..
>>42477177Serial Experiments Lain is still the most /x/ show I've ever seen.
Adventure Time is the only cartoon I've seen that really delves deep into the idea of reality being shaped and changed from the mind, as well as the only show with blatant Gnostic themes not hidden under layers of subtext. The way it discusses magic as being "seeing through reality and manipulating it" and wizards as having to go through extreme trauma to achieve their abilities is very interesting if you know anything about occult practices. The later seasons really lean on ancient mystic stuff, the creators must have some vast knowledge on this topic or something.
>>42477177You seriously gave invader zim a fucking honorable mention? Did you even see that organ harvesting episode???https://youtu.be/J9f0IoyRLVA?si=aEeXpgOx45PfWf1s

>>42477379>CreepschoolGood show, that should definitely be an /x/ cartoon.
