I loved the works of Ian Stevenson. I am not saying it's 100% true, but at least there's something to go off on. I am 33, so any past life memories I might have had, they were gone at probably 3 years old. I have some ideas, but to me they're fantasy now.

No. You have to live Now.
>>
I didn't get a total memory wipe. I retained some memories of myself back on one of the higher planes, where everything basically looks like anime. They've been the cause of great discomfort all of my "life" on earth.

Even if you accomplish a regression you might regret it.

Yeah something that always pops up in these discussions is that the human bio hardware can't really handle remembering a past life and a current one.
>>
>>42480502
Depends on the person, doesn't it? I've always had an exceptional long term memory. On the other hand, some people have total recall but don't remember past lives at all, so the problem is really a memory wipe before birth than it's the fault of limited 'hardware'.

Anyway, my point was a regression may show you something so great, so beautiful, it makes your current life look like a load of dogshit in contrast, and that can be depressing.

I did a YouTube meditation and it was frightening

It had me wondering if the whole experience was real or not because the imagery in my mind was sooo dang real. I was a simple caveman with a girl in what was literally just a lien too shelter. What struck me as weirder was the sky and the moon.

The moon was different than now. It had some lava on it

My feet was caked in filth. I was hungry. Thorns had scratched me everywhere. I carried a sharp stick.

It was bizarre. I haven't done that YouTube meditation since.

Me and my friend actually went to regression therapy a couple years ago. He is a fan of Sevenson (read all his books) and convinced me to try it.
For me it was all fairly pleasant - didn't really remember any past lives (or I don't think I did, unless what I saw was a Pleiadian homeworld or some such stuff), but did have a vibrant "inner world" experience, met my "totemic animal" and overall the experience was very positive and uplifting.
Friend however had a real fucking nightmare and a nervous breakdown. He remembered witnessing a murder of his past life's mother and his past self's own sad and lonely final moments. Later he suddenly developed the beginning stages of multiple sclerosis out of nowhere and he thinks it was because of the regression (apparently according to some sources there is a risk of "inheriting" health and mental issues from coming in close contact with your past selves). Also turned out he is on the BPD spectrum, which generally is a severe contraindication for any sort of hypnosis/trance work.

So, there is something to it all, but be careful I guess.

Hmm, I'm >>42483848 and yeah what I saw during regression therapy was very anime-like. It was a lush somewhat alien-looking garden on a shore under a purple-ish sky. What was supposed to symbolize my "tree of life" was a strange mix of a thick tropical tree and a sunflower (it was basically a huge wide palm but with a gigantic orange flower on top instead of the usual leaves). Myself there had white hair and basically looked like an anime character.
I honestly thought (and still do) it was mostly all my imagination, but there were some moments that felt a lot more than just that.

yeah, when people refer to "anime heaven" they're not kidding, even if they don't know it

the other thing with those memories I mentioned in >>42480445 ... I had them long before anime even came to this country

It felt very real

You can vaguely know your past lives even without massive amounts of meditation, heres how:
>1)do you feel a deep familiarity and feeling of comfort with a certain specific time and place.
Example: I feel like I comfortable with ancient Minoan culture but NOT Elam or Babylonia.
>2)Inverstly do you really hate a speficic time and place (good chance you had a shitty time)
Example: I am really repulsed and dislike dark ages vikings.
>3)If you long for something that doesn't exsist (like a weird ass civilization in game or movie, such as Zeal in chronotrigger) then you probably lived in a lost civilization we are yet to discover or one people today believe is mythology.
>4)Are there animals you really feel connecte to (like are you a furry, thats a good inidication you were a animal in your last life)
>5)are you really into skeletons and darkness ad grave yards and so on, you know typical goth shit (you were probably a ghost)
...
Now if you really examine the times/places (IN THE PAST) you were comfortabe with, try imagine what kind of job you were comfortable with? Black smith, soldier? you get the point. You can tease out the details.

I'm uncovering my past lives all the time. I'm like at 7 now. I'm a psychic so I grab energy connections and see where they lead.
I found one the other day by looking at the energy thread for my grandpa's energy. He was my dad in an Australian life on a ranch. I always related to him more than my real dad here even though I didn't know him very well.
There is a part of me that gravitates towards living a quiet life like that on a ranch.
Australia is a bit of a mind blow though. Doesn't really feel that familiar or anything. Most of my lives are in europe and asia.
A lot of your family members and significant friends are not who you think they are. If there is a familiarity or high significance to them that is because you know them from somewhere else.
Karma is also real and it will follow you.

Nothing is fantasy. I wish I was rich and had money to pay for a really good past-life regression. I honestly don't think I'm ready though, that's why I haven't looked into it. I'm not sure if I'm ready to know about my past lives because this one has been so jacked up.

I had an affinity for Imperial Japan, going as far back as me being 9 years old. I dismissed that possibility. I have no way of proving I lived during that lifetime. Also the works of Ian Stevenson, you could argue some of those cases could be genetic memory passed on. I'm not denying the soul transcending culture and race, but I doubt I was from a foreign culture at one point. I am a white guy born in 1993 northeastern United States. if I did have a past life, most likely had to be in the states, probably died in the early 20th century somewhere nearby, that incarnated.

What if rather than early memories you could only recall them while dreaming. I have memories from the beginning of my life aka being born, and don't recall ever having past life memories but I have seen a lot in dreams. There could be different ways to access these. Cn you lucid dream? Can you remember dreams?
