I keep thinking about this but for humanity to be alive is really not just a coincidence it's mostly right people on right places and somehow it always works.Whenever you look at those two Russians that prevented nuclear war Petrov and Arkhipov both of them said no when nukes should go off and global nuclear war should happened or you look at Fleming's accidental discovery of Penicillin that saved billions of life's at this point or when Becquerel discovered radioactivity. Stuff like happened lot of times right men on a right place and somehow because of that we didn't perish or millions of lives where saved.
>>42486748We're clearly all linked in some way. There have been too many examples like this. I only exist because of a decision made by a higher up in WWII. My great-grandad was about to get on a U-boat with his troop, the troop was all the men from his hometown. These were his friends. But just as he was about to step on he got pulled and told "nope, not you, you're shipping to Canada". He begged to board, but they refused. Then, the U-boat set off and two minutes later they watched the U-boat explode. All of his friends were gone. My grandma, my dad, me and all of my siblings only exist because of one decision made in WWII. Little decisions alter whole lines, it's crazy.
Two russians is sus luck. But penicillin just raised the total amount of NPCs. With radioactivity im not sure what youre referring to. I think my only argument would be that even if the nukes went off with the two russians, humanity may still have survived. But probably not.Either way we will probably be reset in the coming years due to the AI data center bubble and global warming and microplastics and so on. Because actions have consequences. Clown world reached its zenith around 2016-2022 and henceforth we must suffer
>>42486756Crazy but maybe it's not just coincidence maybe that's how it should have been, maybe you or your kids or somebody from your family do or affect somebody and it changes or save another lives. It's just im thinking really if it's hive mind connection or somebody is altering people decisions to do those things. As you said your self one decision and it gave life of whole line of people.
>>42486763Right but think about what earth would look like after nuke war and how it looks now maybe it was prevented because we supposed to find or research something that will give us ability to go even further. NPC's are always needed it doesn't matter if you hate them or not simply to do a lot of work you need lot of people.
>>42486748All I can say to this is a quote from Ted Kaczynski.
>>42486748Violence and strife are how we evolve. Struggle is the crucible and to deny that is to deny growth and to deny growth is to deny life. The examples you mentioned are all bad things.
>>42486773i rly don’t think we need a lot of work tho. we even see that with the phenomenon where people are hired for the sake of employment itself as an end goal. because the fictitious statistics themselves are much more pertinent to the gov than doing any kind of particular "work". there is no underlying framework other than "line go up" and "lifetime expectancy go up". but living through 200 years of pure wage slavery in a chinese factory is actually WORSE than living 10 years of a simple and happy childhood. living through 100k years of nuclear winter on a planet where the world population has been reduced to a few thousand people might actually be PREFERABLE to what we have right now. obviously its hard to judge but im just saying as long as there is no coincidence which prevents humanity's extinction i don't think anything sus is going on
>>42486806>>42486802Im not asking about consequences im pretty sure we all understand that world we currently live in is far from ideal and mostly evil but what im asking about if it's about saving individuals or saving whole humanity as it is.
>>42486821But what is the point ? We are standing on earth in the system that is shit but there is some point to it ? If it just is im not doomer scientist and i simply refuse to believe it's it was lucky roll of the dice that we didn't all perish in a few instances of human stupidity.
>>42486838there is no point i know of because we are not supposed to know
>>42486748>those two Russians that prevented nuclear war
>>42486748Life Finds A Way. Yes.
>>42486748you exist to ask these questions which means this world cant be the one where all life was nuked
>>42486764My grandad who married my grandma became a fireman because of her and he's saved countless lives. If she hadn't have been born he may never have chosen that path. Whole lines were preserved by my grandad. He was also the first on the scene at one of Britain's worst ever fire disasters. He's a real hero, but without my great-grandad that might never have happened, and who knows, maybe the descendents of people saved by my grandad will go on to do something great. I think my great-grandad was spared for a reason for sure.
>>42486748There is no nukes, so there can't be nuclear war. About penicilin, it didn't save billions of lifes since germ theory of disease is a fraud.
>>42486748Yea I hear you. It’s one of the things that convinced me to drop atheism and materialism. If there was no God, or at least no plan or fate or something, I really don’t think I would be here still and probably neither would any of you.
