This was a big fuel for the whole luminal space horror genre. Its just such a simple template with a huge range of possibilities that it spawned a ton of other variations and nonsense.

Also, anons always talk about how zoomers and redditors 'ruined' the backrooms with reference to levels, enitites, etc, but redditors and even anons in May 2019 are already posting about these things. It's almost like there's some weird mandela effect/false memories which people have about the meme of the backrooms.

I think thats why people resonate with it so much. I have visions given to me that are very similar to backrooms concept.
