Vampires don't exist, no, "energetic vampires" don't exist either - it's just bad, egoistic people that take their frustrations upon others, making you feel drained when you interact with them.Going back to what you traditionally consider vampires, all I can see is a mixture of various portrayals in the movies, where they have cool outfits and powers (which you wish you had, because then your life wouldn't be so boring). Preferring to stay up at night doesn't mean you're a vampire, it means you're either underage or an adult who has no responsibilities except maybe throwing out the trash (and since that happens during the day, you hate going out - at all). Here's your "vampirism". I won't lie, I thought Blade was a cool movie. Not a deep masterpiece, but an interesting take on old, vampiric clans secretly controlling many parts of the government, using "thralls" as their pawns - that is, people willingly serving vampires without being ones. You could say there are some pararells to real life.
