What do you think of Chariots of the Gods? Do you believe Gods were just aliens that visited us? Was Jesus the most recent visitor?
>>42490458The gods basically are just aliens, so there's no real need to argue for it
I think more than likely they are some kind of spirit or extra dimensional entitythe one thing they have in common throughout history is that they like to hang around high energy sourcesthunderstorms, volcanos, mountains, nuclear sites, etcthis also implies that the ancients, especially in places like asia and central asia, had some better understanding of what they were and could communicate with them in some way
>>42490458THIS or THAT anonthings can only be choice A or choice B. Nothing else
i found this book very compelling
Meh. I prefer fantasy to sci fi
>>42490458>>42490482I personally think that we were visited but not by "aliens" in the materialistic sense. More like we were helped by metaphysical entities that helped us create the glories of antiquity and the antediluvian civilizations. I think the Nephilim and the Watchers version of the history has truth to it, but it presents these metaphysical entities negatively. I think it's more likely that the aliens were morally ambiguous. They were probably similar to us in many ways, but with a transcending wisdom in Magic and technology.>>42490741Same here. I am open to the aliens being literal xenos but I am more drawn to the spiritual esoteric interpretation. But maybe they are two sides of the same coin.

>>42490458What is the practical difference between angels and aliens?
>>42490769The mythological gods are just angels assigned to us by God. What I want to know is how the ancient people knew about them. Did those gods appear as how they are described? Did Ra appear to the Egyptians with an animal head? Did they appear to the Chinese as a draqon?
>>42490458I don’t think much of it. His evidence has been studied and discredited.
>>42491316>Did Ra appear to the Egyptians with an animal head? Did they appear to the Chinese as a draqon?I have two schizo ideas I have heard elsewhere about these two1. The animal headed Gods in Egypt and other half-animal half-human entities are a result of the surviving post-flood Nephilim interbreeding with animals, which created a variety of such creatures. I heard something like this theory from Witsit Gets It on YT.2. Chinese dragons, European dragons and also the Aztec feathered serpent are actually a depiction of the Gnostic Yaldabaoth, who was often depicted as a serpent with a lion's head. This I heard from SchizoDumpz.

>>42490458I always perceived them very similar to me, not as "aliens", strangers. In their myth, they are often very closely related to places on Earth, and act very humanlike. I see Däniken's claims as an insult to my faith. The gods have lot to teach, today and always, it would be a great mistake to otherize them.(BTW, fairies are not aliens, and aliens are not fairies, for similar reasons.)Another thing is, attempting to "explain" spiritual experiences by appealing to material (like gods as mere spacemen) is a fool's errand, because Mind is the source, the fundament.
