What never gets brought up about The Shining is how the twins do not appear in the original novel. They were specifically made for the movie. When the twins are erased, the “caretaker” is replaced and put in charge of all proceedings.

>>42494307This guy gets it. The Shining was Stanley Kubrick's confession of his involvement in the Apollo hoax. They used his rear screen projection techniques to photograph the moon scenes. Those little lights in the moon photos from the first UFO drop are defects in the scotchlite screen. Jay Weidner did a documentary on this around 15 years ago and I believe he nailed it.
