In Genesis after Adam and Eve ate the fruit of Knowledge of Good and Evil, Yahweh says he must banish them from the Garden so the don't eat also from the Tree of Life which would cause them to become like God(s).In Revelation Jesus promises for all his blessed followers to eat freely from the Tree of Life, does that mean we'll become like Gods then? Also isn't Jesus going against Yahweh here?
>>42509659Weren't Adam and Eve allowed to eat from the Tree of Life before the fall?
>>42509763Yes, but apparently the Tree of Life was off limits after eating the Tree of knowledge of Good and Evil. Apparently combining both would make them God like.
>>42509782maybe that was the plan all along lol
>>42509659You're starting to get it
>>42509659>Also isn't Jesus going against Yahweh here?Yes. Revelation and the Gospel of John are both Sethian/Johannite texts. They're gnostic. Jesus or Sophia is the Serpent in that tradition. Yaweh/ the demiurge is the beast of revelation.
>>42509659Jesus is a faggot kike like Moses
>>42509659Perhaps Jesus just teaches us how to become gods ourselves
>>42509659reminder that in the Talmud version of the story of Adam and Eve Yahwe expels Adam and Eve from Eden because Eve. She cheated Adam with Lucifer and Lucifer contaminated her so that for seven generations Eve is incapable of begetting children who has 100 human blood, the Jews descend from Cain who is the son of Eve and Lucifer
>>42511871Having children with 100 human blood
>>42509659It's not promised, but it was going to be granted. Tree of knowledge = Divine intellect, to know good from evil and in between, higher consciousness.Tree of Life = Immortality, metaphysical incorporeal eternal existence. Both fruits of each tree was intended for man. In theology it is called Theosis. "God became man so that man could become like God."Christ alludes to it: >“It is written in your own Scriptures that God said to certain leaders of the people, 'I say, you are gods!'"John 10:34.The problem is Humans are of the fruit of knowledge TOO EARLY, against God's command. We were not yet ready for that wisdom. We were convinced by Satan that we could eat. Unearned wisdom lead to original sin, the spiritual crippling of our soul. Which had consequences, such as proliferation of sin and lack of Godliness. Spiritual brokenness.Satan tried to then convince us to eat of the Tree of Life after the fall. To immortalize our blood guilt, to ensure we are eternally broken and eternally ruined. That is why the Tree of Life was protected by fire, to prevent our eternal disgrace, to save us. Theosis became necessary, Christ became necessary, to help us heal ourselves with God's grace, to be shown a way back to divinity, back to God, back to spiritual maturity, back to where we are supposed to be, by God's side so that we can be like God.
>>42511903>>42509659>ContinuedThis is why things like the demonic, the occult, the new age, sorcery, divination, black magick, rituals, astrology, are all counted for sin. Because it is a waste of time, a distraction meant to prevent (you) from remembering what you are and what you possess, the divine spark, logos, and knowledge of love. To make you forget who you are, an image of God. All of the distractions are designed to prevent you from spiritual repair from spiritual healing from spiritual reconciliation with the source of life, God. Because Satan really hated and still hates the idea that something as lowly as a human, a tiny finite being of skin and blood was granted a pathway to Godhood and he didn't receive such a grace. Satan in his pride felt as the highest seraphim, the highest order of angels that he should be inheritor of divine spark, not tiny stupid humans. That's why he hates Gid and hates you especially. Satan and his demons spend semi-eternity to make sure you never figure things out. That's the name of the game, good luck.
>>42509659Let’s say we don’t know :)
>>42511924>>42511903>>42509659>LastlyThe question you may ask: "What does a repaired human look like? What does a human with full reconciliation with God look like? What does a man have once he is complete and whole?"Christ is what completed man looks like. He is the preview of what you are called to become. You will notice the obvious: If a man were to be like Christ, if he were to undo the damage and become like God, what happens to him? Humans kill him. So that's the tricky road to heaven to God. When you dare to crawl back to your appointed divine spark, you become the enemy of the world. That is challenge.
Jesus was just talking to his future self
>>42511903>The problem is Humans are of the fruit of knowledge TOO EARLY, against God's command. We were not yet ready for that wisdom.Where does it say God ever intended us to eventually eat the fruit?
>>42511924>Because Satan really hated and still hates the idea that something as lowly as a humanDo you actually believe a benevolent being designed the human body
>>42511903The sun was worshiped in all cultures and religions as redeemer (Ra, Horus, Apollo, Mithras, Jesus Christ, the Son of God in kabbalism, Tiferet, Beauty, the Heart) during summer solstice, while winter solstice represented the dark forces (duality of yin-yang).
>>42512474I'm sick of the Sun = Son shit. It's been years and you retards still haven't figured out this only works in English.
>>42512482The ancients didn't speak English?
>>42512422Well, why was it growing in the garden if God himself didn't need either it or Tree of Life, since he already combined both?
>>42510555checked, but moses was an egyptian
>>42510304Alma 1222 Now Alma said unto him: This is the thing which I was about to explain. Now we see that Adam did fall by the partaking of the forbidden fruit, according to the word of God; and thus we see, that by his fall, all mankind became a lost and fallen people.23 And now behold, I say unto you that if it had been possible for Adam to have partaken of the fruit of the tree of life at that time, there would have been no death, and the word would have been void, making God a liar, for he said: If thou eat thou shalt surely die.24 And we see that death comes upon mankind, yea, the death which has been spoken of by Amulek, which is the temporal death; nevertheless there was a space granted unto man in which he might repent; therefore this life became a probationary state; a time to prepare to meet God; a time to prepare for that endless state which has been spoken of by us, which is after the resurrection of the dead.25 Now, if it had not been for the plan of redemption, which was laid from the foundation of the world, there could have been no resurrection of the dead; but there was a plan of redemption laid, which shall bring to pass the resurrection of the dead, of which has been spoken.26 And now behold, if it were possible that our first parents could have gone forth and partaken of the tree of life they would have been forever miserable, having no preparatory state; and thus the plan of redemption would have been frustrated, and the word of God would have been void, taking none effect.27 But behold, it was not so; but it was appointed unto men that they must die; and after death, they must come to judgment, even that same judgment of which we have spoken, which is the end.
>>42512422>Where does it say God ever intended us to eventually eat the fruit?Genesis 1:26>"We will make man in our image according to our likeness"The word "Likeness" in the correct context describes nature, not physical appearance. To be in God's nature means to inherit characteristics, such as reason, love, moral consciousness to name a few. Here is an example:God is all omnipotent, has power over life and death. We have some of this power, we can create life (procreate), we can take life (righteous killing/self defense). God is omniscient, knows past present and future. We have some of this power, memory recall (past), observation (present), foresight (future). God is triune, multiple persons, one entity. So are we, a man can be a father, a husband and a son. (This is why the verse in Genesis WE will make man in OUR image).Obviously our version of these powers and traits are infinitely tiny compared to God's, but the pattern is clear, we are made in His likeness. However moral consciousness was something that wasn't granted to us upon creation. Adam & Eve did not have full knowledge of good and evil and no compete grasp of moral consciousness. Yet God wanted us to be in His image. God possessed something we had not been granted, knowledge of good and evil.It was instead a tree in the garden. A tree that gave fruit of the knowledge. This implies that the tree was intended for us, God had no need for it, yet was there, growing. The implication is we were to grow first before taking that knowledge, maturing spirituality first before that responsibility and sort of wisdom. But we took of it too early as I said and damage was done. A easy way to think of it is this way: You want to give your son a gun to defend himself. Or knowledge on how to destroy if necessary for a greater good. Do you hand him the gun when he is 5 years old? Or wait until he is of maturity when he can respect such a thing? At an age of wisdom like say 18 or 21? Same thing
>>42513675>>42512422>ContinuedSane is true for the tree of life. God is timeless, eternal, immortal. Adam & Eve were not, but were going to be through the tree of life, most likely after successfully maturing first and properly being given the fruit of knowledge. But because they wrongfully took of the tree of knowledge, their path to immortality was taken away by God. When the Bible says death became a punishment, it is not out of spite or malice. Because if Adam & Eve continued and took of the tree of life, their spiritually corrupt nature would have been eternal, they would have been ruined spiritually forever. (This was Satan's plan). We were removed from Paradise for that reason, to prevent such an eternal error. So the next time you find yourself frustrated that we can't live forever in a state of wholeness or fulfillment, you can thank Satan for ruining that for you and us all
>>42513730>>42513675>>42512422>LastlyAnd if you're still reading, thank you. This pattern in the big picture looks like this:A child is created, a Father rejoicesThe child inherits the father's likeness,The father wishes for the child to wield the same strength as him, the same wisdom, the same insights so that the child can enjoy a good life. The child at some point disobeys, and the father disciplines the child. The child departs from the father's role modeling, rebelling and listens instead to the World. The child becomes a man of the world who, time and time again, is either deceived or part of some strife. Has the world to lean on yet doesn't feel at home. Never feels fulfilled, does not find purpose, suffering occurs. The child is disconnected from the Father, the child now a man is in a private Hell but continues to fight. And fight and fight.Eventually after years of this, the child sees reason, finds wisdom within their own roots, and rather than continue forward looks behind, returns home, back to the father, to become a father himself. "The prodigal son returns".That's the point of the parable. A celebration is raised to honor the son who ran away, the father is pleased, forgiveness and reconciliation already waiting at the table for the son. The father always believed in his son. That's a pattern that plays out and has played out between human fathers and human sons for millennia. All the way back to the first human to ever become a father, Adam. And before Adam, Our Father in Heaven. This is again to be in God's likeness. So much are we in His likeness that we even experience the same sense of worry or loss when our own sons stray and wander and get into trouble. We even repeat God's perspective on a small scale, with our own kids. Those who are good fathers will discipline their sons, but will not take away their free will. Will allow them to fall, but have a seat waiting for them at the table.
>>42513675I mean it could mean I will make man according to a Representation which is by my liking.
