I have an issue where my OCD has made me notice patterns of certain seemingly random things that cause something particularly bad and unexpected to happen for some reason. EVERY TIME I try to do this things, even without caring, even as an "exposure" (as in exposure response prevention therapy for OCD), they still cause something bad to happen. I have no idea why, they just do. Examples include: >using certain images or certain kinds of images as my phone wallpaper, bamboo being the one that causes the worst effects >drinking black tea (causes something particularly bad to happen after, such as the actions of another person, not just me getting anxiety from caffeine) >drinking a particular brand of matcha tea causes something extremely upsetting specifically related to work to happen that day >drinking a large amount (1tbsp) of sencha green tea or green tea that was steeped for too long causes something bad with either my boss to happen, or something particularly bad at work not specifically related to my boss >drinking a large amount of jasmine tea (1tbsp) causes some episode of conflict or an argument with my mom >drinking oolong tea causes something moderately bad to happen >reblogging a quote on tumblr or writing something on tumblr causes something PARTICULARLY horrifying or upsetting to happen later that was basically "testing" whether i really believe/agree with what i posted or reblogged or not after speaking to an actual occult practitioner recently, a shaman, i now think that these patterns may actually be caused by some kind of malicious entities causing bad events to occur in my life whenever i do certain things.
