It was pretty startling as a child because it looks so imposing but as I grew into my teenage years I began to see it as a really positive thing because it only happened on beautiful days. Mostly in the summer but any time the sky was clear blue I could look up and see it. I can’t pinpoint the time but it has become a LOT less common over the years.
