I notice that the cause of all procrastination come from the lack of attention and from distractions (they are almost the same) that block you consciousness, and that awareness alone destroy procrastination. Look at your day to day life, when you're on a religion experience for example you tend to be super aware and all the distraction bullshit just disappear and you are free! But when you are the distracted you looks like a robot or a zombie in some way, almost sleeping. So I think that someone has to do to be more focus is not to destroy the distractions of your mind but give more strength to the consciousness, what are you comments on that topic? I personally realize that focusing in your body helps a little for you to get more conscious.
Things take energy (mental, spiritual, physical). And when something feels big to handle you focus your energy on "distractions" so you can keep the energy flowing and not stagnate. It is difficult gaining spiritual energy back to do stuff.
Consciousness isnt real. Its the mind thats god read the sarasvati rahasya upanishad.

>>42518910hello, I agree with you, in part. one also need to diminish the chance of distractions by sense restraint. the monks at Hillside Hermitage have developed a form of practice based on that and what you posted. check them out if you didn't, truly good stuff.
