Back in January of this year, an Olive Garden worker died after dunking himself in hot oil.

Link to vid about it:

https://youtu.be/RhUZzqn89Cw?si=hEMTtD2KXT6xq924

He reportedly stripped naked and dived in head first. Saud he was trying to cool off. Some other coworkers tried to help him, but it was too late.

I think the official story is either extreme depression or hard drugs.

Neither of these make sense in my view.

>There are various other quicker and less painful methods to off yourself with

>If he was on drugs, why would he be even able to go cook without getting reported? Why would he drop hard drugs on the clock?

It seems to me either he suddenly got possessed or something suddenly kicked in/took control(MKUltra trigger, technological body/mind hijacking, etc.). I just do not buy he could not think of a better way to commit suicide or that he was competent enough to either make it to work extremely high or that he would take something like pcp while at work, at least without getting the cops called on him.

What do you think about this incident anons? Was he suicidal and 'brave' af? Was he just really mess up from drugs and accidentally got himself killed? Or was he suddenly possessed or had his selfdestruct programming activated?

Thanks in advance as always!

Did he at least batter himself first?

>>If he was on drugs, why would he be even able to go cook without getting reported? Why would he drop hard drugs on the clock?
Are you literally fourteen years old? It was a casual dining restaurant, you're not going to catch the kitchen staff doing their jobs sober.
>>
>>42521743
>why would he be even able to go cook without getting reported? Why would he drop hard drugs on the clock?
The food service business is full of employees out of their heads on drugs on a daily basis.
>>
>>42521743
I'd be lying if I said I'd never thought about it. Mainly I'd just think about sticking my arm in there. Something about a burn is easier to deal with than a cut. You get cauterized from it. Harder to mess up and bleed out. But the feeling is an entirely different flavor from a cut. It almost hurts good.

>looks at trip

Oh, it's you. Sage. In all fields.
>>
Dude, are you stupid? Why did you open this topic under the paranormal heading? Some idiot accidentally killed himself while under the influence of drugs, that's normal.

Weed and Xanax are not the same as PCP or flaka or something else very strong.
>>
>>42521743
I hear these stories and it makes me wonder if these people also use AI.
>ur schizo
Nah, AI is a conduit for fallen spirits from the abyss (gap between 4D and 5D).

From my time in the kitchen I have memories of people straight up K holing after cuttling massive lines on the prep table, a coworker doing a "hippie flip" which is LSD/shrooms combo then working a whole shift with no memory of it but crazy stories of the shit they thought they were doing, very regularly most of the staff being absolutely blackout drunk at times, etc etc.
Weed and xanax is like what cooks do to come down.
The idea of someone trying something like PCP and still making it in for their shift and faking it through for a bit is not even mildly unreasonable.
>>
>>42521743
>he suddenly got possessed or something suddenly kicked in/took control
That's my guess. I assume this spirit had contact with him previously.

Even if he's on drugs it still could be paranormal. Don't people talk about drugs being a "portal" or break open the veil? He probably was on meth and was being harassed by a spirit. No reason to go full normie about this. You all don't even say he was depressed or delusional, just that he's on drugs. Like the meth told him to do that
>>
>>42521743
I don't believe anything reported by the mainstream news. You should try it.

OP doesn't realize nearly all cooks at Olive Garden are on drugs during their shift...

>Even if it was a fart. It DOES not rule out that the gas was of supernatural origin.
>>
People do crazy things, under possession or "psychosis" or whatever you want to call it. I know someone who stabbed themselves 16 times (and survived). The day before they were speaking in third person and so on, as if they were strangers in their own body. They talked to/about me as if I wasn't there. Spooky shit.

>I work there. It happened. Fucking nightmare fuel. Screaming women. Five males on staff and one is jumping into the fryer. He was on PCP and something possessed him to believe the fryer was water. In a restaurant full of ice and fountains and sinks. I pulled him out three separate times, as he fought to go back in. No noise from him...only three words. " I'm cool bro" face melting and ass in oil when I told him to get the fuck out.

>I'm jealous of anyone who wasn't there. I pray you never see anything like it.
>>
>Guy I spoke to that used to work there said he contacted one of the employees about it. They said his eyes came out of his skull and his skin was melting off....no reaction. Dude apparently said " think im gonna go for a dip" right before he did it.

I remember that story. Wasn't he on PCP?
>>
>>42523593
>drugs were involved so the supernatural couldn't be
it's this line of reasoning that gets people who are on drugs to be harassed by the supernatural so easily. We really just play into their hands every opportunity we get, don't we?
>>
>>42521743
>Neither of these make sense in my view.

Because he is whigger, retard

You never know the thought process of a super depressed person mang. When I was a kid my Uncle that we all knew was depressed got home from work one day, talked to my Grandpa for a bit on the phone and scheduled a golf game, hung up and walked outside to the backyard, soaked himself in gasoline and set himself on fire. My Aunt and their kids were home. His last words were cracking a joke to the paramedic, who he knew. I can easily see some dude thinking "fuck it imma fry myself in cooking oil" after seeing that.
>>

I just cannot see it happening unless the person is possessed, controlled, or HEAVILY influenced.

This would not be curious to you at all if you ever worked as a line cook, you absolute faggot. Every day I fry chicken at the deli I work at I have to resist jumping in the fryer oil. Seriously, fuck you.
This is not /x/ at all. Minimum wage suicide is only esoteric to rich fuckheads.

>>
>>42531036

So you think 99.99% of suicidal folks want to do it in one of the most agonizing ways possible, instead of...idk...roping or shooting or ODing themselves? Are you suggesting you and him are so masochistic that you would do this? Tf!?!
>>
>>42524701
It could also be dissociation rather than psychosis. While he was in autopilot mode doing repetitive tasks, he may have misinterpreted visual information and reflexively evoked a maladaptive muscle memory. This sort of thing happens, like an airline pilot manually disengaging landing gear or a gamer skipping a cutscene despite wanting to follow the story.
>>
>>42531496

He stripped and talked before diving in, so I highly doubt it was like an accidental injury.
>>
>>42530360
I dunno i've been here on /x since 2012
>>
>>42531574
Ah, I didn’t watch the video before speculating.

Still, there have been fairly complex dissociative fugue cases in the past. One time a woman I knew started walking into a neighbor’s house uninvited in a robe that wasn’t tied shut.

you've clearly never worked in a kitchen
especially a minimum wage kitchen
cooks are drunk, high, hungover, all the time
if they get the job done, management doesn't give it shit
they can't afford to hire new people nor have time to train.
This guy looks like a dweeb, if he's the an hero related.
My bet is he dosed acid, maybe from a coworker maybe elsewhere
Could have been high the night before
was still high when it came to his shift
thought he could make it through instead of calling out
had a bad trip
died
>time to cool off
before taking a dip in boiling oil is funny af though
the absurdity of that statement was likely a reflection tion of his life.
>>
when I worked at mongolian bbq in college, the wok chef would regularly come in high on lsd. he said it helped him hear precisely when the meat is done cooking.
>>
>>42522586

>>
>>42521743
You always make the most retarded threads about easily solvable stuff.
Dude was obviously insane. Heard a voice from God "dunk your head in the hot oil and you'll prove you're worthy of Heaven". It's simple. Insanity, either something he kept to himself until an episode got him cooked, or drugs, but that's very unlikely. I've tried all different types of drugs in my life and none of them made me for even a second to consider ending my life, especially by diving head first into hot oil.
