I've noticed that, whenever I go through a period of heavily consuming horror movies/media, I always have this persistent dark, unpleasant feeling that won't go away unless I focus on other things for a while. I've had actual metaphysical experiences before that were very unpleasant, so it's not like I'm scared by what I'm watching. Is there a spiritual reason for this? Preferably something more thought out than "hurr it's demons".
You say while posting a depiction of horror?
>>42528867>I consumed negative media and now feel negatively, how could this happen to me?
>>42529031It's relevant. And I haven't watched the series it's from in a while. >>42529076This seems like a dramatic characterization for things that are completely fictional. I'm more concerned with how it bleeds over into real life despite being entirely different.
RIP greylock. its never getting updated
>>42529097>This seems like a dramatic characterization for things that are completely fictionalfun fact, your brain cant tell the difference. there was never a purpose to go "oh this is fake" until VERY recently in human history.
>>42529104Apparently the guy making it (based chud btw) had a huge CGI data loss but was finally able to recover it. There's supposed to be more coming, but no timeframe as of right now. I miss it too, it's a cut above pretty much all the other analog horror media which is too hamfisted/lazily written/"ooohh weird distorted face, be very afraid" zoomer crap
>>42529123What about horror literature? Granted I don't know if any of it was actually remotely scary in pre-20th century times. Stuff like Lovecraft and Wells from what I've read of it tends to be kinda goofy.
