I have recently finished reading "The Satanic Bible" by Anton LaVey - The author and founder of modern satanism. I did seem to agree with a lot of the points he made about justice & so on and so forth during the first half of my read, but as soon as it started getting metaphysical, I got more and more skeptic until I just came to the conclusion that the guy was a fraud. Then I found out that he might've put on a curse on a guy and him, his driver & wife died in a car crash after Anton proclaimed that they would die within 1 year. Well, that happened 8 months after the "curse". And of course it's easy to say that it was just a coincidence but his points about desire and manifestation keeps making me question things. Is this so called "force" really a thing or is it just placebo? Today I tried performing my first satanic ritual. I tried to follow the rules as the book suggested to the best of my ability. I don't have any expectations as I am a very skeptical person. For information I did a destruction ritual on somebody that I absolutely despise and my wish was that he wouldn't make it out this summer alive. Well, I've got a whole summer to monitor his mortality. If he really does die in a violent way as I have wished then it would mean that it isn't completely bluff, but I presume that nothing will happen.
