The binaurals during the Energy Balloon (after 10-15 mins) seem to induce threshold states - head becomes fuzzy and static, body inclination seems to shift, a sensation of heaviness, diffuseness, even folding into myself, subtle vibrations. But they last for a while and then I settle back. I just don't know how to push forward. If I "try" to roll out or move out of my body, I just move my body. Granted, I've been able to reach those thresholds more often now. My dreams are a little bit weirder and have strange nocturnal sensations that I can't tell if real or dream. I've had involuntary projections at night too since I started the tapes. I really really wanna believe I'm on the right path. But I just started reading Monroe's books and I'm absolutely baffled how his entries basically read:>laid down in bed>started vibrating in less than 5 mins>woopsie daisy slipped outwtf it's like the guy would need to just close his eyes and be overcome with vibrations
Do you have to succeed at these tapes? Or simply attempting them, maybe getting near the projection state, make you "visible" to spiritual and astral entities?Ever since I've started doing them, I've felt "targeted" by unexplained forces and entities, in ways I cannot fully explain. And I feel...weird. Like reality is thinning. My visualization of the energy shield/balloon has been shit though, mostly skipping it but I never gave it much thought since I never truly managed to project. Did I fuck myself?
is it true that astral projection is just random imagination and power fantasy tripping? There seems to be zero benefit to this bs, am i wrong? mostly same for lucid dreaming, i s'pose :o
>>42541230>zero benefit>am i wrong?Yes, now move on or lurk and keep your mouth shut
>>42541219Breathwork, anon. Channel the energy into your crown.
I’ve had similar experiences with it and the lack of a proper sequence makes it hard to know if it’s going right or wrong. The way I think of it though is the intermittent states are the threshold where you have to make or break the session, it’s very easy to lose focus or fall asleep at that point. Once you reach an intermediary state, refresh your attention and refocus on your goal for the session. Then form an emotional connection to your goal, sounds dumb but the more invested you are, the better results will be. Personally the only repeatable thing that I've been able to do with this is induce a manual lucid dream (multiple times despite never doing it without) but they only last a few seconds. Often though they have extremely helpful or interesting information within.
>>42541206Don't move your real body, IMAGINE moving your body. Visualise an imaginary "second body" and move that instead.
>>42541252Wouldn't that be focusing too much on the physical body?
>>42541295>make or break the session, it’s very easy to lose focus or fall asleep at that point. Once you reach an intermediary state, refresh your attention and refocus on your goal for the session. My experience has been is that once I reach that threshold state, it would be very hard to fall asleep given the sensations. It feels like entering tunnel vision as well (if I had my eyes open that is), something narrows down. But I always break it, and I've tried:>refocusingbut that makes me too tense mentally and physically>let it beIt seems to intensify for a bit and then it just, fades>my eyelids start fucking fluttering and try to openWtf is up with that? I even use a sleep band but the eyelids start pushing open which break the state. This has been a problem every time I just don't understand why
>>42541230A fantasy, a narrative, a fiction, are no different than reality. But reality is stranger than fiction. we are in a fucking object rn. Maybe idk, >>42541312>body walks away from eyes
When you begin meditation practice, it looks a lot like trying to fall asleep, your clearing your mind of non-essential thoughts and letting the persistent ones pass in front of your awareness without interacting much, when you get good, you can put yourself to sleep much easier (trust me I had insomnia for a long time). Usually the intermediary effects only take form when your on the borderline of sleep and awareness (if I can say anything it’s that this threshold is very much key). I remember in the beginning my eyes would try to force themselves open too, I don’t remember when that stopped but it will with repetition, I was told it happens because the lack of sensory data forces your brain into overdrive looking for it. You say your tense and that because you haven’t integrated it into a semi normal schedule yet, it’s still a new activity or job or work that you are trying to force your subconscious to agree with, and it will take convincing, but it will be with persistence.

>>42541219 Ivr posted this here before, but the first time i ever did the tapes, it had a great effect on me. when i woke up, i saw a giant glowing orb above my apartment (i saw it reflected in the apartment building across the street)
I've never been able to have that much luck with these tapes. I've done them so many times and still feel so unsure if I'm even properly entering focus 10. It annoys me that people seem to have such great results on their first try.
>>42541414>I remember in the beginning my eyes would try to force themselves open too, I don’t remember when that stopped but it will with repetition, I was told it happens because the lack of sensory data forces your brain into overdrive looking for it.Interesting thoughts! And thank you for the encouragement, yeah you're right I'm not quite regular with this. Even just doing the tapes irregularly has given me the ability to relax deeply, go into focus 10 much easier. In time, the rest will come as well. Godspeed
>>42541332where do you think the energy comes from?>>42541434that's called the sun, smart guy
is this only for astral projection or will it help me manifest shit?
>>42545164Mostly for projection but if you learn to travel to higher dimensions and suck enough astral dicks, they might manifest it for you in this low and dense reality
>>42541206>But I just started reading Monroe's books and I'm absolutely baffled how his entries basically read:>laid down in bed>started vibrating in less than 5 mins>woopsie daisy slipped outThats kinda all you need, but i guess theres either some environmental influence or it just depend on the person. For me its hard as fuck, the only time i succeded in astral projection was when i didnt bother with any fancy tech and just lied down, not moving an inch and avoided thinking about anything. I just focused on the darkness in front of my eyes until i entered hypnagogic state (basically you will see fancy flashes, shapes or whatever). After that you kinda feel like your body is melting, in a good way. At some point vibrations start, they feel like an earthquake that is localized entirely within your body, and its impossible to mistake it for anything else. Thats the moment when you try to roll out / climb out / move your awareness to a clone etc. If you get scared, you fucked it up, just roll over and go to sleep and try again next day.
>>42541206>wtf it's like the guy would need to just close his eyes and be overcome with vibrationsDepends on people, and the faster doesn't mean the better because for example I can make the vibrations come in just a matter of seconds and feel like totally leaving my body in a couple minutes, but yet while doing the tapes seriously I never had any astral projection, I only had hallucinations.>>42541230>astral projection is just random imaginationPeople claim stuff. I remember a woman saying she had left her cat to someone to go on a trip, and the cat was sad and refused to eat for days, so she used focus 12 to astral project and pet her cat, and shortly after the cat was eating and looking less sad. But of course all these claim can be lies or coincidences.>zero benefitHallucinations are already a fun experience, I guess lucid dreams must be even better.
>>42541423Did someone read all the success stories? Which ones look like proofs ? I read only three ones (I am a very very slow reader) and they were not so magical, growing up suddenly while a teenager is rather common.
>>42545164The "patterning" tapes are for manifesting.
>>42545969>I can make the vibrations come in just a matter of seconds and feel like totally leaving my body in a couple minutes, but yet while doing the tapes seriously I never had any astral projection, I only had hallucinations. How the fuck do you do it? That's still cool, did you practice getting into vibrations or? Do you meditate in general? What type of person are you? And what kind of hallucinations do you have?>For me its hard as fuck, the only time i succeded in astral projection was when i didnt bother with any fancy tech and just lied down, not moving an inch and avoided thinking about anything. I just focused on the darkness in front of my eyes until i entered hypnagogic stateI think he kind of makes a point out of it being mostly involuntary. Sometimes he hints at a period of time before (an hour or so) where he tries to relax and disconnect but I'm not too sure based on his other entries that that's the case every time. He seems exceptional I guess. For me it's been hard as fuck too and astral projections only happened during the night, when I was not trying. I can't for the life of me do the method after waking up in the night, I just fall back to sleep but during the day when I'm sleepy and wanna take a nap, somehow that works better
>>42545969>so she used focus 12 to astral project and pet her cat, and shortly after the cat was eating and looking less sad. That sounds so beautiful if true, I want to believe
>>42546563>How the fuck do you do it?I may not be an example to follow for like I said I never achieved astral projection or anything, but I got these vibrations with a breathing exercise. Basically you stand, as you inhale you feel an energy flow from the ground entering your feet, flowing up your body, getting out through your head to the air, and as you breathe out you feel a flow of energy coming from above you, entering your head, flowing down your body, getting out through your feet to the ground. I did it here and there for a few days, maybe a week, then at some point, both energies started to be there at same time, they met in my stomach and formed a slowly spinning tornado in my stomach causing these vibrations. It was unexpected and I didn't know what it was. I tried to make it happen again, sometimes for days I could not make it happen, sometimes it would come quickly. I could easily make them stop, but I was not sure how to make them come. Then I noticed that the vibrations came by themselves more and more often without the exercise, especially when I was wishing something strongly, or when I was angry. One year later I tried the tapes, the exact same vibrations came but clearer and stronger, and without the tornado in the stomach. So I tried again the breathing exercise, I quickly ended up being able to make the vibrations come practically every time, then in a matter of seconds whenever I wanted without even doing the exercise. I still don't find any use for these though, they don't seem to help for manifesting or reality shifting. They are always much stronger when I listen to the tapes though, as if the whole room was shaking like crazy.
>>42546563>Do you meditate in general? What type of person are you? And what kind of hallucinations do you have? Not really, but I think about many things all the time, which leads to anxiety and burn out, so sometimes I force myself to stop thinking about anything, which is a form of meditation. It's hard actually to stop thinking. I especially try when I go bicycling countryside. The hallucinations I have are only physical and visual, I feel like I am moving, I see a world, but I do not hear that world and I do not smell anything either. Only once I tasted the taste of a sweet that a sort of extraterrestrial little girl had given me, it tasted like strawberry. It usually begin by feeling like I am taking off and traveling very fast in some small spaceship, I am taken to some place. There was a magical forest, several times a hospital because it was on my mind, in a giant soap bubble over a big river in Asia (the first time I listen to the musical tape), or on a futuristic alien planet where aliens and robots were at war. One goofy time I was turned into jelly and I was traveling through pipes... A cute one, the first times I tried to reach focus 12 I often found myself in a world over the clouds that looked like a show for children, which was actually where as a toddler I imaged my magical star lived, it was there by the way but dead like a stone which was a sad detail. It's just hallucinations, not even as clear and deep as a dream, far from feeling real, but it's cool to experience.I stopped for months because I partially lost hearing in my right ear, but when I can do it again I wish I can make these more realistic, like what reality shifters describe.
My most epic hallucination, I told about it here months ago but I'm telling it again because it was really something: I was flying in a bubble and there was a giant statue of some god, I asked it a question, twice, but it did not answer, so I got angry and asked again, it got upset and swallowed me, I dissolved, like I was digested and all my matter dissolved, then I rematerialized as me in a ghost train ride and the other passengers were the classic looney tunes: Bugs, Daffy, Taz, Sam...

It's astral travel minus the vibrational state. It's one of the best books on astral travel you'll ever listen to besides astral dynamics by robert bruce.-Hacking the OOBE will teach you a bunch of alternative techniques to pop out of your body.-Exploring the world of lucid dreaming by laBerge is the first book you should read about lucid dreaming before going into all the other books about lucid dreaming.astral traveling is easy as fuck and you can do it anytime of day using SSILD technique you can learn about on reddit and the target technique taught in adventures beyond the body.good luck anons.

>>42562325is there anyway to increase SSILD or any other direct methods success rate? Out of ~ 70 attempts I've only had success 2 times. I can cycle and keep focus for hours at a time but outside of those successes mostly get vibrations lasting 5-20min then just lay there listening to myself sleep (Trying to visualize a scene or rolling out wakes me up) or nothing happens at all and i've wasted 3 hours. The first success it felt like the air was replaced by thick clear jello and everything looked mostly the same but with some misplaced furniture and it took considerable effort just to walk 10 feet forward (ended after about 1 min ), the 2nd lasted about 5 min the walls and floor where replaced by flesh and bone I could barely move so I tried to teleport somewhere familiar but it didn't work so I looked around b4 waking up.Indirect methods like WBTB + MILD have like a 10% chance and start super realistic but then degrade into a blurry foggy mess after about 10 secs, I can go back into the dream after waking up but it just degrades even faster until i cant go back in again.
