It was a pain that I didn't want to cease because I recognized its source. The pain of sin is a twisting pain, it is a disordered pain, it is a bad pain. The pain of love is a unitive pain, and bring you into unity with the divine nature of the communion of the holy Trinity. God loves you. God shares in your pain. God will redeem your pain. Jesus weeps over the world. But Jesus came to save the world, and not to condemn it. Because he was that abandoned Son, he was that humiliated wretch, he was that piece of filth, mocked, laughed at, hated, hanging on a wooden cross, bleeding profusely, abandoned and betrayed by almost everyone he knew. And yet he said, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." In this God proved his justice and justified the ungodly and gave them the right to become sons and daughters of God and to conquer the world.

God doesn't forgive the unrepentant, so why should you? That's not to say you can't be understanding in some cases. But it goes case by case. Some sins are worse than others. Some sinners you should pity and guide them towards repentance with kindess, other sinners are just so wicked they are better off just fucking dying, or being tortured(such as in the Lake of Fire.) It goes case by case. Use your good judgement and a spirit of discernment.
