It would mean you're a hylic given that the dot is sampling from around the world, and since you lack a higher basis to sense and manipulate things on that layer, and lack a basis "outside" the universe, you can't look in and get a feel for it. It's all noise on the only level you have available, hence why it appears random. You cannot look at it from above or afar, nor can you turn yourself into a cloud and spread your awarensss across the world to nudge and sense things before they happen.

If I go to sleep the dot goes blue. If I become enraged it turns red. I strongly entrain others around me and drag them up or down depending on my state. They can't entrain me because my state comes from outside the universe.
