Their mom was always working so they were home alone. I think they wished for their dad or something like that. Later in life I learned of “twin” movies, similar plots like Armageddon/deep impact, ants/a bugs life. And I remember thinking “oh like those genie movies”.

Sometime in the near future we harness quantum computing which allows us to manipulate events in time. There are strict laws to preserve history and the furthest back we can go is around the 80s/90s. The future people came back and made trump win. Basically the "good" timeline is being forced to happen because the bad timeline happened naturally and basically whites were outnumbered in their nations and western society crashed and burned. Possibly elon musk's team who developed the quantum technology to go back and scramble things around, and we see some errors with the mandela effect.
Why is it that only Americans experience the Mandela effect?
