I've always had this little theory that there is a plan for humanity to embrace the non-human. Back in the 20th century; demons, vampires, witches and the like were all represented as ugly; wretched entities. Nowadays, most humans are interested, or at least have been exposed to content where these monsters are not only beautiful; but seemingly beneficial to humanity. This is to make the masses appreciative of the darkest entities in this realm. Romantic, sexual, mere interest is enough to keep them going. The final goal? I don't know, maybe there is none. Or is something way bigger than I thought.
