I looked behind, then I saw her, a woman in white robe, her ashen white face, bloodie blisters and flesh wounds all over, right in my face, before my eyes. I live in the middle of nowhere, so some random small banging around the house doesn't bother me as much. But once in a while on some nights, I would hear what sounded like a knife being sharpened, or a terribly loud high pitched noise almost like a kettle whistling followed by a couple bangs so loud I could feel my house shaking, or a woman humming just outside my window. I thought they might be coming from my TV or PC, but when I turned them off, the sounds just didn't stop. I was too scared to even look outside.
