Can i be a follower of christ and still believe in reincarnation or hold the belief that some of his teachings were purposefully taken out of the bible since he was and still is a threat to the powers that be? I don’t go to church often, but since a year or two ive been reading the bible and found that jesus philosophic teachings just make sense. Once i truly understood what his philosophy was about and started praying frequently i finally got it. But im a bit conflicted since ive also researched topics more fitting for eastern spirituality such as reincarnation and think that theres just too much to it for it to be made up. Is it blasphemy to make up my own mind and question church doctrine? (i come from a catholic family) And are there even denominations that acknowledge the spiritual and mystical aspects of life and maybe even acknowledge that were not being told the full story about jesus of nazareth?

>>42569895what exactly is this about? That christianity stems from other mythologies or that theyre all connected?
Reincarnation in the talmudic/hindu/gnostic sense is obviously heretical.

>>42569882I'll just relate what I'm going through in case you see a synchronicity. In Mahayana they worship the text but in Zen they wipe their ass with it. I didn't have a teacher, wanted to be Zen but studied a lot of texts first. Now I read a Zen guy saying I wipe my ass with the text.In Soto Zen you just sit and the idea is that if you are able to come up with just sitting there you're already a Buddha and there's Enlightenment and there's nothing left to do.
chaos magick is great. feels like less ppl are talking about it now than a couple of years ago which is a shame. didnt x use to have a chaos magick general as well? if so can someone post what is left of the resources? If you still define yourself as a beginner it might just be a time and skill thing. i think liber null and psychonaut contains exercises that you can do that are useful as a starting point and will point you in the right direction regarding what skills to develop next so desu just rip of them. Since chaos magic was not invented by greek pederasts and/or jews just autistically following the guides wont work very well unless you also build the skills and charachter required to take advantage.
Anthroposophy. Rudolf Steiner stuff. It's anti monotheism and very progressive which is what a load of it's sad sack modern adherents forget. Also that the point of Christ for them was to stop humans becoming too obsessed with physical reality and not to save you from an imaginary pitchfork up the ass. Has reincarnation as a fact as indeed all occult boom movements in 20th century held as the idea of an afterlife of static destiny was cooked up for crowd control reasons and the Hebrews believed same thing as Vikings - that it was boring and not painful (see Dan McClellan, who you must watch if you really want to force yourself to go down the Jesus road). Riddled with in fighting and politics and it has people like Judith van Halle to contend with. It's weird stuff. Bidor works v well for migraines though but sadly they don't make it nemore. Christianity is awful though and all the abrahamic religions are about submission to an angry spiteful god and his funny pointless rules and have blighted the earth with their constant wars and projections onto the other abrahamic groups in their triad. Good luck. Chaos magic just to follow up on that is groovy but psychonaught I felt was almost pointlessly edgy in places and only really made sense of you're already doing magic and have read a lot of Crowley to see where he's coming from. But RIP PJC. Ivy corvus does food quick vids on YT.
Jesus never existed and is a man made myth. Grow up faggots.

>>42569882i think so. i think theres too many little kids remembering past lives for it to not be real. but i dont think we all reincarnate. but if we do we might have a limited number of reincarnations before we go to heaven or hell. thats kindof how i reconcile it.
>>42569882There's people who believe that. Just fork off the repository and work on your own project with other like-minded people.

>>42569882>Can i be a follower of christ and still believe in reincarnation? No. Reincarnation is antithetical to Christianity, which believes in creatio ex nihilo. However, resurrection is similar.>Can i be a follower of christ and hold the belief that some of his teachings were purposefully taken out of the bible since he was and still is a threat to the powers that be?It is correct that Jesus Christ is a threat to the worldly powers, and that his teachings are interpreted incorrectly by many, but to completely abandon His Church? You are decapitating the Head from the Body. How will you survive the spiritual battlefield on your own? You will be devoured. If you are inclined toward the mysticism of Gnosticism, Hermeticism, etc., you will be glad because it exists in Orthodox Christianity, without all the heresies, so no reincarnation or emanations. Neoplatonism is especially apparent in Orthodox Christianity. In Roman Catholicism, they abandon the mystical for the rational with their scholastic worldview. The whole meaning of life in Orthodox Christianity is unification with God, also known as theosis. We do not become God (apotheosis), but rather "be partakers of the divine nature" (2 Peter 1:4), participating in His divine energies, which are distinct from His divine essence or nature.I think you need to visit an Orthodox church.>I don't go to church oftenGo to church! An Orthodox one. Please talk to a priest and ask him any questions.>Is it blasphemy to make up my own mind and question church doctrine?Somewhat? Questioning is not necessarily bad, although when the first disciples were called by Jesus Christ, they dropped what they were doing immediately to follow Him; their jobs as fishermen, and their families. They abandoned comfort for truth. Yet they did not listen to the authorities at the time.Even if it is blasphemy, you always have, and will have, the ability to repent. You are not alone.God bless you. I will be praying for you.
>>42575242i always found orthodox christianity to be the most fascinating denomination and its followers seem to be the most based. However with reincarnation i still cant ignore how many children remember it as some other anon said or how many people remember their past lives through hypnosis and start describing things or people which they couldnt have known unless they lived another life hundreds of years ago, such cases are documented very well.

>>42569882We live in a time where being a follower of christ is nothing but a barrier. It's not gonna do anything but hold you back from your full potential. You can be a follower of Christ and also believe in reincarnation. But just know that anything other than simply believing that Christ existed is a barrier. Christ did not write the Bible. It's a control system.
That's my belief anon. I believe the instant he stopped teaching in person subversion began, this is true for all great teachers. I believe that Christ is special not because of any unique heritage but because his teachings specifically are the most relevant to modern man. Specifically morality and metaphysical answers that, if rejected, lead to suffering. He didn't write the Bible, and it's mostly Heeb Self insert Fiction anyway.
