I have a normie friend who is a huge David Lynch fan. Twin Peaks is his favorite show and I decided to give it watch. From the outset it was clear what I was watching. The Tibet focus that foreshadowed the lodges, the obvious symbolism of the red room, the Air Force/FBI involvement... The Return, which my friend seems most perplexed by, to me was the most explicit statement of the project; explaining the fire symbolism outright, the New Yorker Hotel looking building, using terms like "tulpa", the nuke test and Sustugriel's hobos. I started to write him a letter in the hopes to give him some insight into my observations of the show, but I quickly hit a wall. How does one even begin to go about this? How could I present a thesis like Judy is Chorozon when the basic symbolic language isn't recognized? Thanks, not looking for a big thread, but if anyone has had success in this, I would like to hear about it.
>>42576709Who is Choronzon? Also I have the theory that most movies are rituals of some sort and its not just the entertainment industry but the main purpose of goverment and military is to summon demons nad Lynch is trying to disclose this by pointing out Wizard of Oz movie was a ritual and so are his own moviesWhat do you think?
>>42576709Twin Peaks is a meta commentary on serialized mystery series' and the nature of syndicated television. Bob is named after the at the time president of ABC. Television killed Laura. You killed her. That's the point. She existed to die.
