Have seen a vampire, a shapeshifter and a guy with a donkey tail. I couldn't tell you what the reason is other than its maybe to affirm others in their faith who have doubts. Its like one day waking up and theres a new color and now you are seeing more of a picture that didn't exist to you before. Most people live in consensus reality and anything out of the ordinary endangers the current consensus. Consensus is what keeps the shelves stocked, though according to some elites most of this consensus leads to nothing of value and self-sufficiency at best. Meaning, you put a can of soup on the shelf and eat it yourself, producing nothing. Some people, like scientists of certain fields, bloodliners etc. may have a more objective and functional view that doesn't depend on general consensus(not saying it's deserved or that they have the best intentions). Schizophrenics may sometimes get a glimpse behind the veil, but no avenue to do anything productive with it so it becomes a form of anarchy that psychiatry can attempt to shepherd back in line. A schizophrenic has a different way of experiencing reality, but it sadly usually comes with painful trauma.
