I saw in another thread the one with the president showing a celebrity aliens was based on a real ufo conspiracy rumor. I’m not that deep into ufo lore to know the historic details but I also saw a twitter post that the alien in the movie is like a mix of multiple aliens ufo fanatics would know about. It seems like a real love letter to the whole thing.

It was boring. The entire pay off was just some videos of dudes messing with aliens in the last few decades that could have been AI generated, and them meeting an alien who the good guys just...had around I guess? And didn't makes videos of or show or anything?
