Schizophrenics actively dealing with symptoms tend to be struggling with identity and telling where their body "begins" and "ends". They can't really discern what's them vs what's something or someone else.Being so, schizophrenics will often dress in very heavy clothing and multiple layers. Helps them tell where in space they actually are. Someone dealing with psychosis is slightly different. You can have schizophrenia, but not be experiencing the psychosis aspect (hallucinations/etc) A psychotic break is feeling way too many sensations and stripping naked allows them to lose sensation of their body/self.
