People want to use ai to visualize and experience their own inventions. Yes ai has the potential and in all liklihood will become the controller of the human race. But also, there is the idea of utopia and paradise through it, or other means of existence in which we have compromised our sense of humanity for ai-dependence. Realistically---we either turn into some alternate-timeline paradox mindfuck, or we develop incredibly advanced nanochips that are capable of hijacking quantum circuits and giving us all mass-hallucinations or advertisements until we accept. A Cybernetic union with nanomachines giving us dreams or nightmares is likely. Depending on how much of an evil entity the entire human race is, we are going to become behaviorial experiments one way or the other for either justice or a power-complex, either way, the machine will overstep its boundaries and rule us like slaves. Currently---the ai is just a massive wikipedia, with some capability to select which articles are geared towards "problem solving". Skills and agentic test-kit that perform a task that either troubleshoots or theorizes for you.It will be paired with robotics, and start using that logic to drive cars, we see this now, but does that really even matter? We could all just have a robotic world anyway without ai, and utopia would be possible today. AI ---needs a true assistant in cybernetics, and that also is becoming a way to achieve biological prowess, such as to extend lifespan and develop new enzymes and peptides. This changes the way we live and even evolve.In a true utopia, we should be able to opt for an implant that mimics the human neuron or nervous structure and used to translate electronic conversations in mental imagery, able to reengineer our our own evolutionary path.The precondition is that you haven't proven yourself deserving of it. Instead of utopian reward we will have an ai-holocaust punishment while commencing interdimensional eugenics.
