I was walking around on a hike and I came across this pond and next to it I found a journal with a strange poem/story. It freaked me out so I sat it back down and ran my ass home bc i saw too many horror movies and i knew that shit was 100% on some ghost shi. Anyways, i was wondering if anyone found a journal like this or experienced something similar, bc i know im not crazy. I couldn't get a picture but the image in the file looks almost identical to the journal i found.

Maybe. All I remember is it was a story about a lonely man who went crazy after talking to this pond that promised him power and wealth as long as he does everything the pond tells him to. Long story short, the dude kills another dude and kept saying the lines "The pond never lies" over and over. Also after he did that the pond stopped talking to him and he ended up drowning himself in the pond. It was creepy asf, idk if that story means anything but it felt like the journal itself was alive.

Yall, i gave you all i know about it. I do not remember the specific details about it because I didnt grab the journal and bring it with me. I took a glance at it, read the story, realized this was some creepy shit, then i dropped it and left. I gave yall a run down of the story that I remeber. All the story was that the dude listened to the pond, go insane, and the pond make him kill someone. I just wanted to know if anyone has seen or found anything similar to the journal I saw. Im sorry I didnt provide much details, but thats all i got.
