It don't make much sense for ppl to live a short 67-70 year life. With only a fraction of that time having a "youth" that you gotta enjoy but also u gotta get ahead in the rat race in that short amount of time.

I think humans should easily live thousands of years. Biblical and other ancient texts describe ppl living much longer. In fact the Galactic Federation of Light has individuals that have lived way longer than that.

Its easy to see how our lifespans got shorted so much. They put poisons in our food, water, medicine, air, Media, Entertainment, Education, our workplaces are excessively stressful. Basically everything is toxic.

School is also a massive waste of your youth and is meant to drain away your time and prepare you for a slave lifestyle.

They don’t even teach anything, and the pace is so slow and disjointed or fast and rapid that you don’t absorb anything.

Time is relative, especially in a doctrinal framework for metaphysics.

But to your point, reality doesn’t end with my body, and because I identify with something greater than myself (god) I am eternal.

More literally: if you align yourself with nature than less damage will happen to your body over time, and you’ll live longer. Avoid carcinogens, don’t take pointless risks, have a utilitarian diet, keep your cortisol low

Not to mention homework on top of that. school is a daycare.

I mean yeah we are eternal spirits but the purpose of the thread was to discuss how the biological flesh suits we are inhabiting have been artificially shorted

It's Enlils doing. The oldest story on Earth includes a deity deciding to shorten our lifespans to better control us. We are essentially the replicants from Bladerunner.

That explains a lot actually.

I was watching videos on YT of people being interviewed who were born in the 1800s, some in there 80s or 90s. They could pass for 60s or 70s today.

the "rushing" lifestyle is what kills most people.
I'm looking way younger and doing so much better than my peers who rushed into a failed marriage and mortgage and locked into a corporate job bc they need the benefits and shit.

Average lifespan has been increasing yearly. 122 years is the maximum recorded.
I dont know why anyone would want to live for hundreds of years.

I see what you’re saying. I’ve known many people in the 60-80 year range and even the ones that worked out and jogged a lot and ate healthy still have lots of problems when they reach their 60s just as the fatter unhealthy ones. I think a person shouldn’t expect to live past 80. Back in the older days I think most people only lived to their 40s and 50s. So we have been extending the time with modern medicine. But the human body just ain’t the right vehicle for hundreds of years of living.

Think about the compounding interest that could be accumulated.

Right. The means by which lives are artificially shortened is intentional, too. They do it with addictive additives, unregulated chemicals, aggressive marketing targeting children, phony scientific studies, the popularization of risky behaviours, over-prescription of drugs, enabling illegal drugs, etc
>>

True. Up until 25 I could pass for a high schooler. 3 years of working extremely stresful job in medicine, watching people suffer and die on a daily basis while constantly overworked plus junk food and chain smoking made age like 4x as fast in that period. Pushing 30, have grey hairs already popping out. At least I look my age now.
>>
>>42587927
Take care of yourself, drop junk food, switch to water and fruit. Cap your cigs at 5 a day for starters. Going on like this can affect more than your body.
>>

People are still like that if they live well. I work in an aged care residence and some of the oldies in their late 90s are still going to the gym every day. They still die randomly tho

Why in the fuck would you want to live for over 100 years? That is fucking sick.
