Start with Solomonic magic, crack open at minimum the Lesser Keys for some basics of the practice. There are patterns and similarities between things if you have kabbalistic knowledge which lets you replace some aspects of the ritual portion to be more convenient, but at minimum just prepare a sigil, some incense, and use the proper evocations at the right times.

Spirit work primarily uses yourself as a channel, all things need a medium and unless if you know enough to make that a location or using some means other than yourself, you yourself are the conduit to help manifest things.
