I am in a rough spot right now. I have been for a few years but right now it's worse than it has ever been. I started self harming and I feel like worthless scum. I don't know if it's because of demons or anything like that. I am very active physically, go to the gym 4 times a week, sleep enough but I still feel like shit. It's like something is making me mentally ill

Hey OP. Here is what I would suggest without knowing more:

1. Start taking pre-biotics, and pro-biotics.
2. Take some Oregano Oil + NAC + Black Seed Oil. Look up the protocol (Cosmic Death Fungus).
3. Then I would suggest creating either a meditation or a prayer habit. Whichever sounds best to you.
4. It is great that you already workout. Add grounding. Meaning standing with your bare feet in grass/dirt every day if possible, while getting some sun.
5. Dial down porn/fap if you can.

Start with one, and add the next one as you feel up for it. Know yourself, if you know you will crash out by trying everything at once, don't. Truly do one, and appreciate that you are doing something good for yourself.

Lastly this is just internal work, but go easy on yourself. Treat yourself like you would others. Don't be overly critical or harsh when looking within. It takes time, but you will be alright. You just need to ease up, and start building a bit of momentum forward. Just like the GYM, at first you don't notice much. But just like working out, each individual session is just as important, even when you don't see the results right away.

Meditation helped bust my blues.
Specifically that means recognizing and releasing the thoughts that were keeping me down and exhausted.

Also cutting out any depressing stuff was a huge relief, and made a difference in day one.

Best advice I utilized during the really bad moments was to get ferocious about breaking the pattern. Intense rejection really flipped the script.

Do or watch or listen to things that make you happy. Finding your peace and happiness takes courage sometimes. Instead of trying to stay busy, put effort into actually thinking about why you're depressed and what makes you happy and do it.
